At itcc testing, if I learned anything, it's that those cars are mad quick against "regular" FF's
So I wouldn't rule them out, just, would like something that may fit a little easier.
Anyways, I have a whole series that will happen before S3 of this, so we do have plenty of time!
Why not have a test day this week? Get a list of a few different cars that want to try and pitch them against the FF's. Start off by matching the performance points. Also, many of the real cars are running 250 +/- hp. Not 230. So an increase would allow more FR cars to partake. I know I am not against FR's in ST class.

Well if you look at FIA touring car championship, the FF cars have a disadvantage at the beginning but they catch up towards the end of the race.

Other way around I think you'll find. I watch both BTCC and WTCC the Rwds have a disadvantage vs the FF until they get their tyres up to temp, then catch back up in the later stages of the race. (But as was the Cruzes advantage they were usualy long gone 
)

Aon were terrible, both drivers are annoying too.. Tom "Spikey haired fool" Chilton and James "Arrogant child" Nash.*

The Cruze had more development than any car. It was the fastest for a reason. The drivers aren't too shabby either. They won't be back as a factory car this year though. So the other guys will have a chance. I think Honda will be the car to watch.

Yes, plus it was great from the get go and the best looking by far 
. The Honda is fast in BTCC (In NGTC form) so most likely will be in S2000 form too but too bad it's ugly. (Pirtek NGTC Honda hides most of the fat uglyness )
Anyway if I have time I will try specing an Mx5 on pace and tyre wear.
