The FRS is written in the rules. It's just no one has made a car to run for it yet.

It technically has been approved, but no one has attempted it due to large costs to get the car to spec. Toyota hasn't given any support plan for the project, so it will be a very expensive undertaking. The Lexus lfa is approved for grand am gt as well as the Lamborghini Gallardo.

The car is very bulbus and fat looking not sporty and sleak, the rear end is hidious as are the rear lights.
I could go on, it's much like the fat 1 series hatch. (New one is even worse)
I normally like hatches but these two are abominations. (Maybe it doesn't look so big from a us standpoint, being used to bigger cars and all that but to me it's just horrid.)
(NGTC one) I mean just eww

Compared to most other NGTCs, Focus ST is the worst, it looks like a barge..
(NGTC test car, the Avensis by far my favorite of NGTCs)
But this is all very off topic and subject to personal opinion.. So we should just drop it and move on. (Do note on my profile page I have a Pirtek Civic NGTC, the Pirtek livery somehow seems to hide most of the ugly curves on the car which I find cool. But mostly because I support Jordan and don't care what he drives.)
How you going to limit 135i btw.

Thanks for reading my whole post Seth.. I have been and watched BTCC since I was very young.. I would like to think I know my touring cars, not like I don't search multiple websites etc for news more than twice daily already. Having seen the Civic etc in the flesh last year gave me a better look than just pictures and the Civic just looks odd, all the proportions just don't sit well, atleast to my eye.. Pictures can be found here, if your interested. (The last pics are at the top, the first at the bottom)
I like sleak and smooth looking cars, mainly saloons/hatches.. The Cruze, for e.g, is by far one of my favorite cars for it's lovely lines and sleak bodywork, all of it just flows so perfectly. The Civic looks very confused with bulges here and there, not really flowing across the body.
BUT again as I said this is all suject to personal opinion, as I said in the US it may not look as bulbus as it does compared to more sleak looking competitors here. (Leons, Golfs, Alfas etc.)
PS I have glasses.. But only for driving

I know you basically only get the highlights/races after the season is over.. Or something like that..
I heard the Daytona 500 used highlights of the BTCC season once, think it was 2009, to get the drivers in the mood. I thought it to be wierd but apperently some drivers liked it

I know searching BTCC realited news I stumbled opon it and was like... "WTF " (It was also apperently on the "big screen" in the speedway for the fans etc .)

I understand you don't allow aero. But if you look at some of the cars IRL they do have aero. I'm not saying all of them have aero but a lot of the cars do.

Ya that's true. But if you make a restriction that you can have the aero but if its adjustable you can't adjust it. That way no one can get an advantage from having a wing of some sort.
