Looks like first 12 summits will be European, Japanese and American centred. My guess is, first season pass month is American(Chevelle and Charger), second will be Japanese or European.

I still miss out a ton of cars because I got bored of its grind, I think got over 100 cars on PC and Xbox probably about 30 cars (season pass 22 cars + cars that I needed in the career events).
I do hope the grind isn't as bad in Motorfest or at least better variety of events to grind.

1) You could import everything that you have pre 05.07.2023 into Motorfest day one. Season 9 content will be available for import later.

Dominion Fosberg was waaaaay cooler than every non DLC collab in FH. Also, this collaboration thing was done previously by EA in NFS. Nothing new under the sun.
5) New Y1P cars will be keys for unlocking new playlists(since October). IMO, it means that they are timed exclusives for few weeks, like in tC2 season pass. After exclusivity falls - everyone could buy them for

Did they say anything about cosmetics only transfer? If it's possible to only import these I'd be happy. (Yeah I'm one of those people who enjoys grinding like an actual entertainment.)

If something is done well and it's fun, even if it can't be original, that's fine, and I'll tell you that Forza Horizon was not totally original back in the day, since it was heavily based on TDU and NFS PS, Motorfest is based on Forza but it's also heavily based on TDU (and guess where some of the staff that made that game are right now? Indeed, in Ivory Tower)
I would like to know another game on the market that allows you to import your vehicles and cosmetics such as neons or horns from a previous game to the next (spoiler alert, there is none)

Oops. I forgot specify, sorry!! I meant to say the car cosmetics. I made a design for example that uses the Shark Fin for the roof for some cars from Season 7 Episode 1 along with the surf waves underglow from the far and beyond shop way back then before the Motorpass stuff. (A super cute aquatic kittycat design.)
I hope these are importable without needing to bring the cars along.

Am I the only who thinks porting all previously owned vehicles into a new game is pointless? Part of the whole fun of a game, particularly one with racing involved, is building up your garage and learning which cars are best for which type of races. If you have all the vehicles to start off with......what's the point? It is almost like cheating.

I think it is a nice option to have. TC2 grind is pretty bad for me, if Motorfest will be similar grind pace I think I'll pick this game up when it is on sale then import all the cars I had in TC2 to save me some time.
If they fix the grind, I don't mind just starting fresh and buying back the cars I like one by one.

In Horizon or NFS? Yeap. After 300 hours in tC2 I bought less then 50% of cars(in $ even less). Considering day one Summits, I think import is justified.
Somewhat the same, which is good.

They said it's optional and you can do it whenever you want. I'll probably do it after I finish the main campaign events, but I'll definitely import them right away for the beta.

Since purchase (cheap) I've played for 197 hours to get to an icon level (1134) where the grind for money is... manageable. I will certainly not grind again for the vehicles I have earned.
