The Crew: Wild Run Edition

Well I think at this point there's nothing to lose. Maybe if you backup the files onto an external HDD or something, uninstall, and then place the files back, you won't need to redownload.

That's now how it works with Uplay after doing my research, sadly. Mind-boggling.

This is part of what the beta is about, fixing up errors. But I definitely agree that it is ridiculous that some people don't even get to play because of it. I had an issue not being able to connect to the servers for the first day, so I sort of understand why you would be pissed off, because I was too for those first 24 hours.

Crew Wild Run Beta, "Secret" Wide body Rocket Bunny Perf spec BRZ around the Streets of LA at night. Getting some Serious NFS2015 vibes..but then you remember, it's just one expansive city on a massive map. Enjoy.

How to get Secret Rocket Bunny Wide body BRZ, go to miami Perf Turner with a BRZ. and apply the perf kit, there are 8 front bumpers, 3 side skirts, 8 rear bumpers, 6 hoods,2 fenders, 2 mirrors, 4 wings including a duckbill spoiler, 3 official Rims, including all other custom rims, and all custom paints can be found in your main garage in Visual customization.

Max power when fully tuned is 678hp, 689 ftq.

You're welcome.👍

I got The Crew with my GTX970, but at launch I really didn't like it. Gave it a go after I tried the beta, and man have they cleaned it up since release. It's so much more enjoyable now, really got me back into the game (even though I play mostly single player or goof around in free roam online). 👍

I have passed buying The Crew when it was released like BF4. Should i get it? Is it worth it? Or should i not bother? :P

When are we getting a price for the wild run expansion? I hope it's less than $20 at least.

I don't usually go for DLC but if it's under £12 I'll probably go for it.

According to the official forum the expansion is showing as $25, £25 and €30 and 270SKR!!

The Wild Run expansion is only available as a digital download. Those people buying The Crew Wild Run Edition will find there is a download key inside the disc box, the only thing on disc will be the original The Crew game.

I was really looking forward to the expansion, but at that price I won't be buying (nor will many others I suspect). By making it digital only, I will have to wait until they decide to drop the price of the download.

In the meantime, don't forget that the update to the map, the graphics and the physics update are FREE for everyone so I will settle with enjoying the updated map, at least until I get bored of it. I'm planning to do some of the longer Faction Missions sometime after 17 November in order to experience the updated graphics and map as much as possible in a practical way, rather than just aimlessly driving around. I've been saving up the 57 Cadillac for this as I haven't driven it much yet.

I might buy it. But man that's to much for a expansion. Maybe $15.99 would of been a good price.

I was expecting $20, the Storm Island expansion was $20 (unless you were a VIP) and only added about 5 cars, the crew WR is supposed to have about 20 new vehicles, no one is sure about the final count yet as they are still 'revealing' the new cars and bikes on their FB account.

Wild Run Car/bike List (so far)

BMW S 1000 RR

2011 Ducati Diavel

Indian Scout

2015 Kawasaki Ninja H2

2015 KTM 450 EXC

2014 KTM Super Duke

Lotus Evora

1991 Mazda RX-7

Pagani Zonda

Subaru BRZ

This is what I have so far, I didn't include the monster trucks and I am sure I am missing a ton.

Nice summary though the Zonda doesn't arrive till December. As far as anyone can work out this will be the second prize car for the monthly summit competitions (the BRZ being the November prize). They've said you'll win a car for maxing out the Summit or you can buy it for bucks or CC. Though why you would want to pay for the expansion then pay again for the car I've no idea...
It's not clear whether you can buy the cars separately to the main Wildrun expansion or not.

Basically it's 11 day till release and everyone knows very little about what's actually in it... And they want £25. No thanks.

By the way, for £7 more you can buy GTAV on PS4. And the main game for The Crew costs £5 LESS THAN THE EXPANSION almost everywhere!!!

I don't think $25 is to steep for what they are offering but I do feel that $20 is the sweet spot in terms of a good price point.

They had this up at the official forums but then it got taken down for some reason

New content includes:
4 New Vehicle types: Motorbike, Monster Truck, Dragster, Drift
15+ Additional Licensed Vehicles
60 New Tuning Kits
Unlimited FreeDrive Multiplayer challenges

Like I said earlier, the FH2 Storm Island Expansion offered only 5 new vehicles for a $20 price tag, Wild Run is offering 15 new vehicles, 3 times the vehicles for $5 more. Not to mention the new dynamic weather system, and graphical overhaul that everyone gets for free, updated locations on the map, new gameplay modes in the form of Drag, Drift, Bikes and monster trucks, new physics, the new summit area and events and so on. I don't think $25 is obscenely high considering what you are getting, but would I like $20 instead? Yeah, sure I would. I suppose I could wait for it to go on sale next year, but I probably won't wait 9 months to play something to save $5, not worth it imo.

I think if you don't already have the game then The Crew complete edition is a very good deal, Base game plus Wild Run, plus the season pass for $59, that's a lot of bang for your buck.

It is arguably a different discussion depending on what currency you work in. They are charging £25 in the UK which equates to approximately $38... If it was equivalent to $25 I feel this would be reasonable. Honest question, would you consider it a day 1 purchase at $38? @DDastardly00

In any event, the expansion is worth whatever you are willing to pay for it. And I agree that the complete edition or the version with the original game and Wild Run together works out better value.

I don't want to sound ungrateful or make it sound like I feel "entitled". I am aware of the money they have spent on the free graphics and map update and will probably get the expansion eventually as I feel they have earned my support because of the free update. I do also love the original game and am keen to have a go at Wild Run. It is just less likely to be a day 1 purchase now than it was, I am likely to wait for the feedback on here and the official forum instead, and also for confirmation as to what is actually included on release date.

In any event I will probably be busy playing something else on the 17th since there is a small game being launched on the 10th, "something 4"...

$25 for 15 cars or $1.66 a car, that's too much imo as were the Driveclub DLC cars without the season pass ($1.99 per car without the pass, only $0.66 with)

So does the Wild Run physical copy come with the original disk as well?

According to Natchai on the official forum, Wild Run is not being released on disc, there is a download code included with the original disk.

It's a strange, yet highly commendable situation to make the graphics improvements available to all FoC. To me, that seems more worthwhile than the expansion.

The Crew is making me fizz... I commented saying it that this is awesome, but it would be great if we got a Yamaha MT-09, and The Crew liked it... I think they liked it just because I was being positive about the game, but my hypecore is getting hyped for a Yamaha MT-09 now... I'm going to be disappointed.
