The Crew: Wild Run Edition

Why doesnt Mount Rushmore have a exploration point? I only found it after hunting it down after noticing it on a road sign.

They put a hell of a lot more effort into than they did Niagara Falls at the very least.

Just got the F40, and has Perf and Circuit.
Bought the circuit and the breaks are amazing. 220 to 0 in like 3 seconds.

Got mines as well. I had to hurry up and get back to platinum before the summit end. Luckily I did. I only bought the circuit version for now which feels very nice.

Once I finish the story missions I'll give the Summit a shot and see how I do. Do you guys have any recommendation as to what lvl your cars should when taking part in the Summit

1299 is the max level for upgrading your car's so I suggest you have it set to that if you wanna do good in the summit. Monster truck's and drifting spec doesn't really matter when it comes to car level so you don't have to worry about that.

Yay! just Silver medal, but tnx to +30% bonus I got the car :)

I still have to purchase parts for 1299, but it has already almost full acceleration stat with basic bronze parts (lv20 X, lv40 C).

Ok most of my cars are in the 800 right now.

Competition was stiff on the last Summit, for the first time I couldn't crack into Platinum territory, I was at 808 and the cutoff was at 758, came close but no cigar. After getting a gold plus 40% chance to win the car =90%, I awarded with a Parts Pack, which is pretty much the worst possible luck you can have with a summit after competing in every, single, one of them leading up to the monthly summit. That's a lot of effort and game time to walk away with basically nothing, feeling a little salty about that, but that's the way it goes, I knew the odds going in.

I don't think I'm going to try again this month, I'll probably just wait and buy the Ferrari F40. I think what got me was the stunt race, I had a high silver medal but I generally suck at those, it definitely dragged my overall avg down otherwise I would've easily had a platinum. I didn't do the PVP event at all, maybe I should've.

I had fun playing around with the Free Drive event, I created a Chicago to LA Route 66 run, took me about 30 minutes to run it in a Street Spec car. I'm not sure how to save those, I hit X to make it a favorite but didn't see any other options, so I suppose it's saved?

Should be an interesting E3.
With The Crew DLC or The Crew 2 being announced.
Some say it could be Mexico DLC, others say Canada.
I say it's probably mexico.

Hopefully we get a huge update when it comes to customization.

Got a gold medal on the Summit, and got 20,000cc. Bleh. Lost interest after seeing that and shut the game off. Bitterly disappointed to say the least.

Really interested in picking up this game. Just wondering is it hard to earn money and to progress the game?

In-game progress is mostly centered around the offline story mode - many people would recommend you first finish it before jumping straight into the multiplayer. If you don't plan to play it a lot then earning money can be a bit of an ordeal; the more you play, the larger your short-time earnings will be.

You won't be earning much money in game until after completing the story, and for that all you need is a car with the right spec and meeting the performance recommendations for each mission. After the story is over you can send PSN friends to do events for you and earn you cash. Doing the longest and biggest paying ones can earn you several hundred thousand and the time goes by even when you aren't playing the game. Sending 5 friends on 5 different max payout missions can earn you plenty of cash overnight.

There's also the PVP stuff but my internet was never good enough to play it properly.

It helps to have psn or Xbox or PC friends on level 50. You can send up to 4 on each faction mission. If you have enough at level 50, you can earn about 100,000 every 12 hours, just by logging on and sending friends on faction missions.
Plus there is a daily login bonus which resets each month. That can get you 30,000 credits each day if you login regularly and send friends on the faction missions (they don't literally go on missions, it's a bit like sending them out on b spec in gt5).
Completing faction missions or Pvp increases your status points which increases your login bonus.

Actually, unless you want to buy all the cars and parts etc it's ok. It took me 18m to collect them all, but you don't have to do that. You only really need a few cars of different specs.

Definitely Mexico between the two. Much smaller and easier to model and more uniqueness.

Canada would be more similar to the US, only emptier.

Could also been Hawaii and Alaska, kinda weird they skipped two states and they do have airports.

When you send friends on missions do you need to keep your system on? I have bad memories of constant B-spec grinding in GT5 finally causing my PS3 to YLOD :ill:

Wow, that actually makes it seem relatively easy to get money. Just spam your friends list, remember to send them everyday and just sit back without doing anything you'll get millions eventually.

Are there any limits to how many times you can send the same friends on a mission? Or if they are already sent by another player, can you still send them at the same time?

Umm... Each mission takes 12 hrs, you can only send a friend on one mission at a time.

Those are the only restrictions I'm aware of. Unfortunately, I only half my friends played the crew so I only have 4 people to send out. They're lvl 25, 26, 45 and 50.
