Basically, I want to drive a red US model of the Integra, and since the type Rs are only white, black, and yellow, please introduce the Integra GSRs in GT4. And for some reason, the white US version integra type R was not availiable for GT3, only black and yellow.

Does the color have anything to do with the speed/handling/etc?

Just a thought...

Anyway, I included Integras, but didn't want to put too many of the same car. Maybe that is a problem, as Cano and his burned fingers said something about the multiple variations of each model... it's good to have some submodels of each, but don't overdo it. Anyhow, the Integra GSR would be a good addition, I think.

Playing the game isn't all about speed and handling. Presentation is just as important to make the game enjoyable. Thus color is important, there isn't an availiable Red US model Integra and one should be include or just allow us to do a paint job on the US Type R models (Black and Yellow) <-- White was also unavialiable.

The reason I want an Integra GSR US model with the beady eyes in Red is because Type Rs don't come in Red in the US version, so include a GSR. I own one, and love the car and the car has plenty of potential to be modified for performance and handling match to other vehicles out there. So including it would complete the line of integras because the GSR model is just as sporty as a Celica or Civic Type R.

I just read that GT4 will have (98% sure) around 1,000 cars in it... so I guess my 750+ car list isn't so much out of reach :D

I hope that they put in the 2003 Honda Civic Coupe Si (EX in the US) so that once hybridding becomes possible, I can make the car I want to turn mine into in real life, put the JDM K20A (2002+ Integra Type R) engine into it, and slam it :D

Anyone know if there will be more tuners and options?

Like BMW: ac schnitzer, hartge, racing dynamics - different stylingkits and so on!

That would be quite nice!

Perhaps its hard to get licenses from small tuning companies?
:banghead:

There are so any things that I so want to be in GT4 that other games have almost done, but not quite.

Firstly, though I see the point of the 13-impreza business, What most annoys me is tht Europe should get more fast cars (Like, say, the SL55AMG instead of having stupid Japanese slow cars like the Honda Life from GT2!

Secondly, an improvement on GT3: HAVING USED CARS, and an improvement on GT2+1 Having Non-japanese used cars, so you can get older models that would have been new for GT1 but weren't included, such as the old Rover 220 Turbo and the old Jaguar XJS.

And you shouldn't need to do those oh-so-hard Manufacturer races to get a League completion status!

Even if Firebirds are in it, they'd be trounced by the later Mustang Cobras and unable to compete much beyond that. They should try for an early Firehawk, then the Cobras would have a better challenge.

i think the 98-00 ITR was only available in black and yellow. they discontinued the white colored one at the end of 97.

you guys DO know that GT was originally based on the JGTC championship, right? that would be why you see so many Castrol Supras, Penzoil Skylines, plus numerous other imports?
it's a Japanese game, based on Japanese racing.

sorry if someone has already brought this up. i checked the posts but may have missed it.

i love Japanese cars. i have one domestic, one import. i love 'em both. i looove driving supras and skylines, so i'm not complaining.

but you have to realize where the roots of the game are.

i hear that. i have a Rio Red '94 GSR and a '00 mustang GT.
the closest i was able to get to those were the Type R and SVT Cobra..
in the OLD GT, at least i could pick a cobra in black :)

it's always more fun when you can imulate your own car hehe.

the GSR would be CRAZY fast once you add turbo, etc.

NOBODY didn't say anything about teh Greatest car up there Imo
The VENOM VIPER 650R!! !!! w00tttt!
90% of those cars HAS to make the List because they said it WOULD be over 1k cars.

GO Saleen!
GO Lambo!
GO Viper!
GO Lancer!
GO M series!
GO Vettes!
GO GO GO!!!!!

If anyone else has enough free time to make a false FACT SHEET of the cars on GT4 feel free to do so, just dont post it here. 👍

the point is that I made this list when there was no news on GT4, only, as the forum says: "Rumor & Speculation". Out of the 20+ threads talking about car lists, I made one called the definitive one so we didn't have to go on from thread to thread and look at all the different cars... I compiled them all here.

I didn't lie to anyone or create false hopes, it just so happens that once the rumors about GT4 came out, everyone apparently searched and saw this thread and thought "hey, they've already got the car list for GT4"... and also happens to be that other websites, in throes of being the first to have the car list for said game, came and copied it... shame on them!!

Anyway, it would be great as someone said, if at least 50% of the cars on this list made it, and by the looks of so many Skylines and Evos, that is very well possible.

There will be NO Lamborghini's.. !! (Exclusivity issues)

There will be NO Porsche's due to the same reason as above, and this is also expected to cause issues with RUF appearing, as Porsche aren't going to allow it.

Bugatti is a NO too, due to exclusivity reasons.

Holden is also a NO due to exclusivity.

All the above are signed up to other games developers and so will NOT appear in GT4.

Nice 'fictional' list, but some of those cars will not be seen.

I'd love the Ibiza Cupra R to be in there.. !! I personally have a modified (chipped) Cupra running 210bhp, so being able to drive a stage 4 modified beast on GT4 would be class.. !!

I doubt a 'final' list of cars will be released until at least september or even later. Shame.

The final carlist will be in the magazines at the end of august, together with a list off al tracks and new stuuf, it will the first official PREVIEW.

End of August ( I thought it was beginning of Sept)... Good to hear my source wasn't too far out on the info (pretty reliable inside info).

I look forward to seeing the finalised listings of tracks and cars.

Ehem, I dont even want to get into this statement.....

Anyways my 2cents. I feel that the game requires much more emphasis not on the cars themselves, but in the tuning aspect as it relates to "real-life." "the GSR would be CRAZY fast once you add turbo, etc." represents most of the younger import crowd who figure bolting on parts makes a car go fast. We all know this is not true, nor is it the subject of my post. I merely stated this because it is how the past GT's have been. Buy your car, bolt on parts and race it. I admit that there are some tuning aspects such as downforce, suspension controls, etc. but nothing to do with engine maintenance, dyno runs, etc. as it is in real life.

Now back to cars. If anyone knows anything about BMW's M series they would know that it spans generations of automobile racing, hell it's even older than most of the cars in GT 1-3. That auto program has been building and providing racecars both production and fully-built race chassis for decades. Now who the hell is to say that NONE of the M's should be in the game. What kind of crap is that?!!?! I am a diehard BMW fanatic, and I dont even drive one yet, hell im still involved in imports (97 Integra GSR) but my devotion lies to the M's. I still to this day have no idea why neither the e30 M3 nor the E36 M3 have not made it into any of the GT games. I think this little guy best sums it up: :banghead: My 2cents, deal with it....

I was worried for a second, but as long as my ZZII's in it. That's all I need. They could build a game around just that car IMO.
