I hope they will have the Opel Ascona in the game because I have one my self and it would be cool to see a good old tuned Ascona drifting round the tracks in a video game, and then we have the Ford Sierra Cosworth I just hope you can tune it to over 800bhp as you can in real life.
And what is this talk about the Lamborghini´s, why would it be so imposible to get their license, didn´t they have a Lamborghini Diablo in Gran Turismo 3 or am I wrong.

They had the NOMAD Diablo JGTC Car, if i'm not mistaken, in the Japanese and I believe NTSC Version, but it was taken out of the PAL coding because the of the licencse restriction, and then EA grabbed up lots of Supercar Licences.

Apparently it should never have been allowed in any version of GT3 cos the Nomad Diablo still had the Lamborghini logo on it but PD agreed to take it out of the PAL version so as not to upset Lamborghini and ruin any chance of ever getting them in a GT game.

According to gamespot's preview there will be a BMW McLaren F1 GTR Fina. Also why not 28 BMW's they've shorted us in the past its time we get what we deserve! Plus DVD-ROM's now allow extensive car list like this it can and will fit on one disc.

I remember reading an article in "Super Street" about GT4 and the cars, tracks, licencing, etc. And the spokesperson/creator/whatever he was told super street that if they could get the licencing for ferraris, lambos, porsche etc, they would gladly set teh release date back just to get those into the game. Idk is any of this is true, but i just thought i would add this info for you guys to contemplate about. Ill see if i can find the issue that it was in, if i can, ill directly quote some of the interesting things that were said during the interview.

Yes that was said, ky even said that in a different interview but he only referred to Ferrari.

Well, I suppose if Ferrari is included then the delay will be worth it.Somehow I highly doubt it though.It would be an awsome suprise!!!! Fingers, toes, arms, legs crossed.

but when ky stated ferrari, didnt he also state other "exotic" cars, idk, it was a while ago since i read the interview. i remember that he stated that it would be hard to get the licencing because of need for speed, but "negotiations" were being made, idk thats just what i remember reading. Also, i dont see any F1 cars on that list, does that mean those are out of the picture? I was hoping for some more current F1 chassis for gt4 such as maybe a 2000 model. Just a thought.

F1 style cars will be back, it's very possible that they could be real F1 cars due to Soiny now owning the F1 licence. As for the interview he may have mentioned other cars but I can only remember him mentioning Ferrari, he also said that they were very interested in being in a GT game and that he would love to get them in.

Its kind of odd. I found the issue of "superstreet" that the interview with KY was in. I kept looking and looking but i couldnt find anything about release date and cars that will be included like in the discution that we are having(exotic cars such as ferrari, Lambo etc.). I wonder where i read the article about the stuff that i have mentioned before. I also remember reading that KY said that they were willing to push back the release just to put a few cars/track/tweeks in physics engine. I cant recall where im getting any of this info that i remember since there was non of that recalled in the issue of super street. Help me straighten some of this out

Wow, 2 things missing.

1) a Lada, just for kicks. Maybe a 1500SLE

2) RADICAL SR3!!!!!!! Where are the Radicals? I am truly ashamed. This car (on the track) blows the pants off of 96% OF THE CARS ON THAT LIST! the exceptions of course being the full out race cars , i.e. Bentley's.

BTW, that list is short by at least 1 car. Did anyone read the article on GT4 in Evo Magazine? You're short on a few Caterhams. One of the eds of Evo has his Caterham motor recorded for the game. I will have to look around for the article mind you.

Cannot be true, coz some important cars are missing, e.g. lot of Mines tuned cars or the TRD tuned cars

Although i'm german, i don't want that much german cars, coz they cant compete to the japanese.

just gimme a garage of mines, JUN, Veilside, ings, Nismo, TRD, Toms, tommykaira, mazdaspeed and rmagic cars^^

On the m5 debate, i'd ery much like to have a go with that, im still in the process of gold-ing the licenses on prologue, so far i've done all the greens except the last one with the grand canyon mini course. It's so hard!!!
I think its the oranges i need to gold to get the m5... it's going to be very hard!
