Just tried your setup and managed an 8:50.703 on Sarthe. Was able to run all 3 laps under 3 min and was able to take the lead on the start of the Mulsanne on lap 2. The RB X14 is wicked fast and is a blast to drive.
Now try and go for the sub 50! (:

I did the Monza Race in Pro League in 8:46 for 330.000 Cr. using a max. tuned Tomahawk Gr.1.
Laptimes were around 1.14-1.15. I think even high 1.13 would be possible here. I was first within one lap and even lapped several cars at the end.
This is by far the easiest way to earn credits as the Tomahawk is much faster on straight line and overtaking is a lot easier here than on Sarthe with the Red Bull. I think this will be my new money maker :D

I've been using this for a nice relaxing 1 or 2 million a day now for over a week now, so nice & easy to get bonus.
BMB blows in comparison. :>)

As an aside, there seem to be more AI incidents and yellow flags in this race than any other I've tried (apart from Sport that is). Anyone else noticed that??

I use this one I found on youtube

Only change I made was to nudge top speed down to 18x mph

It is so stable! Even with DS4 you can easy get 1:46:xx laps. Only need to brake a bit at the 100m marker for the first corner, take it at 125mph. Turn 2 & 3 full speed.

I'm the same, about 45 mins on a weekday to get my mileage and mess about a bit using the DS4.
Friday and Sat I'm on it a couple of hours so they're my proper sessions using my wheel :D

I've got all the N class cars except the two unicorns. At the mo I'm having a good go with each in turn, it'll take me a while to get through them all though .

Good luck and happy driving!

I tried the ::: HammerStudiosGaming ::: X-Bow tune and managed to finish 1st with no incidents, although I must say, it's quite challenging, as I only past the leading NcLaren in the last lap. Here's the tune should anybody be interested...

Oooooweeeee I finally broke sub-50 and nearly got sub-48! I somehow still got the clean race bonus after essentially pushing the limits of what a “clean race” is.

i use at BMB the Mazda rx500 on N300. i allways win with 5-10sec. distance to the second and perfect race. normaly if i dont make a mistake, allways perfect.
each lap: 46.2-46.8
finish: 11.46-11.52min.

now i tryed die GR.1 race, yes its faster. but tonight from 6 races, there are only two perfect. okay, i won this gr.1 race one time. and i dont often drive gr.1 cars.
on bmb i won 170times :)

Used this for the first time this evening and like it - will be my go to money event until something better comes along. Prior to that was running the Peugo on Tokoyo occasionally, doubt if ever got clean race bonus though. Wasted 3 million on redbull car with no chance at my skill level of making that a good scenario. I am not a fan of Monza but at least it is a real track and a relative fast track. It took me a couple of tries to get clean race bonus, get used to the car and where to brake for chicane and when to pass the A.I. I am using more or less the set-up from above, except to minimize chance of spinning out from exiting chicane and the slower corners am running tcs of 3. Finally there is a slight glance of maybe reaching 20 million. Right now though the game, no sure if other experience the same is really long load times and even really long annoying times between menus like exiting out of a race. I do need to get back to project cars though also and not let my recent experiences go by the way side. Have been enjoying photo mode with GT Sport quite a bit recently.

Not run into that problem, easy relaxing warmup win. :>)
Thank you for the tips on the car purchase.
Now I have the 330 P4 & Jag Xj13.
Liked them because after tune easily wins Nostalgia 79 in 7 mins 240,000 .
So for next car (have 15 mil already) do you have suggestion on next car & cash cow track
that can also pay it's own way to earn the next $20 mil.?
Hate buying a car and can't race in a lot to win credits.

Cool, I got the 330 P4 and won another 20 mil easy on nostalgic 79. Bought the Jag and also now at $15 million. Not hard at 30 mins a day for 1 mil. get a car every day & a 20 mil on every 20 days lol :>)
What the deal with project cars? This game is kind of nice to drive but dumb ass built around BS. Slow & stupid menu runarounds.
I got this as a present & realized it wasn't GT5 or even 6 . Like the sounds & driving physics , but the slow grind menus & transactions
ruin this game. Lack of direction in career mode is lost on me.

Not one of the best paying races, but if you enjoy Le Sarthe, the Gr1 race there is pretty good. I broke out the old Jag, since I haven't used it in a while. It's a fun car, and watching the replay, it looks funny at how quick it can go around corners.

5 laps, 330,000cr with the clean race bonus.

I bought the Ford with my next 20M but am not impressed..... sat in my garage and not used now after a couple of races (it did win but I just didn't enjoy driving it as much).
I am now using a Gr.1 at Monza for earning credits too. Great fun and may work out as a little bit more per minute reward than Nostalgic. The easiest win (for me) is the Peugeot 908.... it's a flier!

Appreciate the tip! This has been my go to for the past few days now. I got a bit bored with the Tomahawk so I started using the Sauber Mercedes C9. It’s been a lot of fun to mess around with tunes between races.

Thx for that, guess I'll skip the Ford till I find a great tune.
Try the SRT Tommy on Monza, it beat my best Peugeot time easily.
Not as stable as the Peugeot 908, but it SCREAMS!!!

I did, but its top-end was no higher than the 908.... I haven't tuned it though (but have upgraded it) so I might need to fix that.... it maxes at around 360Kmh with my set-up.
I actually tried the '11 R18 today and posted my fastest time yet (that powers up to +170%!!)

Thanks for the tip!

PS - I think the Ford is generally considered "3rd best" and I was reminded there's another 20M car in the game, another Ferrari (the one usually near the back in the Nostalgic race!) So I wouldn't give up on it on my say-so! A lot of people love it, just doesn't suit me.

What other races do you like to drive the Jag on that pays out some credits besides nostalgia 79?

I have both 908 and Gr.1 Tomahawk. Tomahawk can easily push to 400 km/h with the right gearbox setup on full power (even with max downforce) and is immensely quick: you can even get to 1st place in 1st lap if you get lucky with the traffic (they like to bump you off sometimes). 908 is really quick aswell, but not as quick as Tomahawk

There aren't any. The only other way you can race it is in Custom / Arcade. The P4 can enter La Festa Cavallino, but on sports tyres. Will win easy, but not so easy to drive! Jag.... no, disappointing.

I will look at the gearbox tomorrow, thanks!

Damn the Tomahawk is so fast! Monza Gr.1 Cup is definitely the fastest and easiest method. Tried it out a couple of times and it’s performing super! Here’s how I tuned my car:

Full Power Increase and Full Weight Decrease
Racing Soft Tires
TCS 2
Maximum Front and Rear Downforce
Auto Gearbox, set to 400km/h

That is all I touched. Here’s what you need to be careful of for the clean bonus:

You can slightly cut the corners, but don’t go past the black and yellow speed bumps. Touch the grass/dirt anywhere in the track and you’ll lose the bonus. Try your best to stay within the track lines. Short narrow corners are dangerous spots for overtaking, so avoid it. 3 cars will most likely clog the second long straightaway before the second chicane. Don’t try to pass them here, or you might risk losing the bonus. Pass them on the straightaway before the final turn. Towards the end of the race, be aware of 1 or 2 cars that might crash and block part of the road. You will overlap some cars and the first two will be the most troublesome if they crash, mainly due to risk factor.

If you have the cone markers enabled, brake just before you pass the double cones. It’s a good measure for braking distance so you don’t accidentally brake too early and lose speed

That's all good advice, thanks! Track limits were a bit of a mystery to me on Monza (same as le Mans!!).

Tried the SRT and went full speed into first right hander and straight into the dirt....:dunce:
Need a new line or carry on lifting as I had to do to get around it in that car!

I tend to play it say on the first lap, just passing one car on the main strait. Then waiting for the back half to start overtaking the pack. Even taking it easy will take the lead at the beginning of lap 3 and then can more or less cruise for 4 laps. Even drive one handed as after several hours on Saturday right hand has some very minor pain from gripping the steering wheel for so long. Did win my manufacture race at Brand Hatch on Saturday evening pole to finish all "clean air". When in the groove though can pass 3 to 4 cars in the first half of the first lap. Would say typically average 9.5 minuets.

I’ve done the Monza Gr1 race a few times tonight, I needed cash for the Class C Benz and Mazda to have them all. Only 1 run left to get the Mazda now, I got the Benz first. I’ve won it with the Peugeot, Porsche and Audi Hybrids so far, and one run with the R92 at Le Sarthe. :)

Edit: I used the Benz for the last race at Monza, holy smokes this things fast!! I got a 1:19.995 with it! :)

Tomahawk usually hits 1:16-1:17 a lap on Monza. It’s very quick. If there’s a possible way to change the gearbox for faster acceleration but keep the 400km/h top speed, then it can go EVEN FASTER!

Hey guys.

If you hate the KTM, you can use the Mazda RX500 instead.

It actually handles like a car, has speed on the straights and sounds awesome.

Costs 500k (instead of 100) but it's worth it... easy win even against a LaFerrari with zero aids, and a pleasant drive.

Keep power at 139% (N300) and with a clean race you net 375 credits under 12m (lap times: first 53s then 46 high, 47 low)

You can see proof here (no La Ferrai meant I was 1st by lap 10) , and my setup is at the end of the video.

Hope it helps!

Cheers,
Burn

Mazda LM55 at Monza in the Gr.1 cup race runs 1:18's without too much hassle, 1:17 doable I'm sure, if you know where you can use all the kerbs - I don't, I just want the CRB.

They can be lightly cut across, but don’t go too far over. Here’s where I use the kerbs:

First small chicane, two kerbs on the inside (left inside when entering, right when exiting) can be slightly driven over.
Second chicane after the second long straightaway, two kerbs can be slightly driven over. First kerb on the left inside when entering and second kerb on the left inside when exiting. Don’t drive over the yellow and black mini speed bumps. The Tomahawk will lose stability and you’ll lose speed.

Is the Mazda LM55 using the same tune that I use for the Tomahawk?

Coolsy's method works a treat!

zocker_16 actually has a faster tune. Check it out here:

I did the Monza Race in Pro League in 8:46 for 330.000 Cr. using a max. tuned Tomahawk Gr.1.
Laptimes were around 1.14-1.15. I think even high 1.13 would be possible here. I was first within one lap and even lapped several cars at the end.
This is by far the easiest way to earn credits as the Tomahawk is much faster on straight line and overtaking is a lot easier here than on Sarthe with the Red Bull. I think this will be my new money maker :D

I'll test some more later today. zocker's tune did make the car run @ 400km.h and 1.14s

My best was 1.16.057 with your tune, but there's room for improvement, even so, shaving 1-2s/lap wouldn't impact the overall race time for a considerable amount and you're prone to mistakes ( as I did quite a few ), endangering the CRB.

I’ve almost hit 1:15 with my setup as well. Just takes some aggressiveness and correct timing with the accelerator
