I think the difference between GT5 and duke nukem forever is that there have been many games that have come out that are comparable to duke nukem's sci fi FPS genre. name what game on the ps3 that is a competitor to GT5 and actually good.

10: The trees are still too goodlooking.
9: He thinks delaying the game makes it better.

My life has turned to darkness and depression since GT5 was delayed. Tomorrow was going to be one of the best days of my life. Now I will be a lost shadow of a happy person once forgotten.

Edit: I also did my last real racing for the year over the weekend. It was going to be perfect timing taking part in my final autocross of the year and then taking my summer tires off and replacing with all seasons just the day before my season of virtual racing begins. Now I just have to sit here and cry.

Today i belongs to this thread, I feel particularly angry at everything including GT5's delay...

Why all those frustrations? how can one overcome unmet expectations? how can one release all those tension build up?

I guess while we wait, we should take our mind elsewhere, and do other things to keep our wait busy no?

I don't see your logic in refusing to believe that working on the game for longer would improve it. I think people are becoming so wound up about this delay that a lack of common sense is prevailing here.

The problem is, the latest delay will not improve the game. Its already 99% certain to have gone gold... This delay from what we know so far is simply because the resources are not available to mass produce it.

I agree all the previous delays have meant the game has improved, but the delay we are suffering right now will not effect the package we receive, only the date we will receive it on.

Er, 99% certain? We got a single source, a 3rd party one at that, saying PD had delivered the gold copy to Sony (3 days late).

It's becoming less and less likely the game is complete, the longer they go without giving a new release date.

The entire internet has read that theory and not one official has came forward to deny it. Sony are usually on their toes 24/7 to prove rumors false, but they're always quiet when it comes to confirming one.

My guess is just as good as the next guy's, I won't pretend otherwise, but my personal one is that this isn't just Sony delaying it...
