I was posting in jest. After reading the many joking posts in the thread, I was getting in the spirit of "epic rage and crying" per the thread title. I thought the atrocious grammar and abysmal spelling would make the facetious nature of my post obvious.

It certainly didn't come across in that manner to myself and I'm sure others as well.

Given that (jest or not) it broke the AUP in regard to grammar, spelling and attacks on members; I'm sure you can understand why the staff erred on the side of caution and issued a warning.

To be fair, it makes sense for people to complain about something they're not happy with about the game in a thread about that particular subject (the two-tier system, the damage model, sound, whatever). Dee has a point; though I'd think instead of the Gen-Disc thread, I'd say head to threads pertaining to these issues.

And I shall bear that Scarlet Letter with deep ambivalence and a renewed appreciation for the dedication of said staff.
 
Where is the driver body deformation PD?! what have you been doing!

its as if all they care about it cars!

they should release an 18+ version where all the organs are modeled and visible at crashes....

Then people would gripe that there are not enough organ swap options.

During this 6 year wait for GT5, reading through this thread...

Given your own issues today I would strongly advice against commenting on moderation actions.

Sort your own 'house' out before commenting on others.

None of which changes the fact that he broke the AUP and as such was warned that this is not acceptable, 'joking' does not grant you immunity from the AUP, never has and never will.

Considering that you're just a few clicks away from being removed from this forum yourself, I would suggest laying low for a while instead of attempting to antagonise the moderation team. What is it so far, been a member here for 10 days, recieved a warning for abusive comments, another warning for explicit / obscene comments, and an infraction for publicly displaying contempt for the AUP and its moderation. Well done!

I honestly can't see you lasting long here. Feel free to surprise me.

Well Sir. I was sticking up for someone who made a non serious post in a non serious thread. But as long we're on the topic of me; I was just voicing my opinion. And, I might have gotten a bit carried away with that first warning post. I even apologized too you. And as for the "explicit / obscene comments". It was just a picture of a guy raging saying "FFUUUUUUUUUUUUU". I mean that's not so terrible, it's neither a curse word, just a saying. I mean considering it is the rage thread too. As for the "contempt" of the AUP and its moderation.... What contempt? The picture of the guy with a blank face, with me saying; "This is my face when I get a warning"? :indiff:

And as for you saying, "I honestly can't see you lasting long here. Feel free to surprise me." seems like a personal attack towards me. I'm confused. Sorry that it has come to this. :(

They delay it and won't even tell us when we'll get a release date. It's been 10 days. What the hell. They said in October a new date will be announced but who bets that when november 1st comes along we still won't know.

Worse yet it will be 2011.

Other members do not need you to get involved in moderation action and the staff certainly don't need it, nor do they appreciate it.

The rage meme is one of the most over-used and tired meme's on the web, and to even attempt to suggest that the rest of the word is anything but an obscenity is an insult to the staffs intelligence and a real test of our patience.

Any swear word that has letters missing or blanked out while still remaining clear to its original meaning is not permitted here, that is regardless of it being a written word, contained in an image or even a gif.

That you have failed to take this on board is worrying in its own right, that you then still feel able to comment on moderation action (when you clearly can't grasp the AUP) is unwise to say the least.

As for contempt, all we have had from you in regard to a warning is sarcasm and indifference. If you can't see that as contempt for the AUP and staff then Sphinx is quite right, you will not last long here.

Continue to ignore the AUP and staff instructions and you will be banned.
