Ok, what does this mean!!!!

http://www.thesixthaxis.com/new_gt_5_shots_show_new_cars,_tuning_news_711_tsa.aspx

Scroll down and it says update 2: we can confirm that all the extra features present in the US version will also be in the PAL version, due at the end of March.

If this is true I think all of us will be happy!!!! Can anyone else confirm this!

Got another confirmation: http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=news&newsid=25894

and another:http://threespeech.com/blog/?p=925

Seems like this news is for real, if so this is awesome!

well I sure hope this is true because I've pre-ordered my copy here in aus and have been praying it will include the new cars announced for the US. Also I'm hopefull they have improved the engine sounds further, especially for the s2000, rx-7 and F40.

this is how it should be. I hope Pd give some confirmed info for pal version in its website.otherwise I will wait until someone buy and confirm the pal verson

so, we still have no confirmation do we. The fact that its on three speech is pretty impressive to me ( seeing as how thisexcited the rest). However, the official website for the UK, for instance, does nothing like its US counterpart with all the cars that are to be revealed and such. Does this mean its not for the Pal regions? I don't know...maybe the people in charge of the US site have updated it more often seeing as how all the attention is going to its US release for some (keep it clean) "weird" reason...

Again, we need some confirmation from PD or the Pal websites....Unless anyone else can back it up with more than we have now...

How reliable is threespeech...personally I have never heard of it...so i cannot judge...

The attention is going to the US release (at least according to you) because GT4 Prologue never came to the NA market. A lot of people were put off by that, and now they're ecstatic that their being considered equally by PD and Sony.

...Let's face it...the attention IS going to the US release...Look at the website for the US version...Look at all the recent interviews with the US spokesman guys, you all know who I mean...and then there is the official release list of the US version...

So what about the people in Europe who apparently are NOT equal...doesn't sound any better does it...

That's fine. Did you even read the rest of my post? The proctologist says it's typically too dark in there to see.

I read your post. True it was a bad dissions of PD not the release prologue in the past in the US market, obviously. But all i'm saying is this scales up pretty much right up there...and please, no smart *** remarks ok...

You do realise it's upto Sony SCEA to decide what goes to the US, not PD, PD is the developer not publisher.

Just like it is upto Sony SCEE what goes to the EU/AU/NZ market.

wow really...so PD has no say in this...in that case Scee needs to clean up its act, cuz I'm not amused by this to say the least.

I am not worried in the slightest, SCEE has done well for us in the past with releasing titles like GT Concept, GT4P etc while SCEA didn't, not to mention the extra cars and features we got in GT4.

Only difference here is SCEE is slow to officially announce anything new on it's official site. I wouldn't worry yet.

With the EU release only what 20 days or so away.
I would have thought the official site would have SOME information on it apart from the opening movie and coming soon to Playstation 3 .

3 weeks away, I expect it to be updated very soon, by next weekend the latest, but who knows.

Yeah I saw that info eariler buried pages ago in the Prologue official thread, In this thread I was talking about when SCEE will update their site.

well, I'm just glad we'll be getting the same content. That was all I was worried about. And seeing how that is cleared I couldn't be more happier!

But of course Japan and Europe can download those cars? It would be very silly to not allow it , while they are promotion GT's new online features.

...5 cars...I'm glad we're getting the rest of the cars, extra track and all the other options...who cares about the 5 cars...at least, that's how I feel!

Nice find all thus I live in America :)
But my question is. What exactly is a PAL version? I hear it a lot in the forums.

Maybe the European version could use more European cars since I hear US version will have more American cars.

Copy and paste marvellous invention :)

PAL is the type of video system used in many countries outside of the U.S. In order for you to watch a video your VCR must send an electronic signal to your television. This signal is based upon the AC (alternating current) power frequency in the country where you are viewing the tape. Here in America our power frequency is 60Hz. However, in many other countries the AC frequency is 50Hz. Therefore, we have different television standards around the world.

America's television standard was developed under the guidance of the National Television Standards Committee, thus it is called NTSC. In most of Europe, Asia and Africa the power frequency is 50Hz so they developed 2 television standards which better suit the needs of these countries. One of the 50Hz Standards is PAL (Phase Alternating Lines) and the other is SECAM (SEquential Color Avec Memoire). While PAL is used in most of Europe and former territories of the British Empire SECAM is primarily used in France, Eastern Block and Middle Eastern Countries.

Anyone know something about the Japanese version? Will it get this cars and the Highspeed Ring aswell in a content update?
