GT ProOh No... They've wrecked the fast and the furious!!!![]()
Without Paul Walker it's not fast and without Vin Diesil it ain't furious.![]()
Why, after all that money and fans would they make yet another sequel without Paul Walker in it? He is what kept the 2nd movie going..Oh No 👎
dropzoneWhat they did to that Mustang is just as ridiculous IMO as stuffing V8s into RX-7s. Why would you want to give up a sound of a rotary in a RX-7 to hear the loud obnoxious attention grabbing V8 sound that you hear wherever the hell you go or the cars that pass by your house. That was an absolute WASTE of a RB engine being in a Mustang(a classic to boot), keep it where it should be, in an import AT LEAST!! But I guess that's just domestics trying to keep up with the rest of the world(JDM, DTM cars).
High-TestAlright, who's the heretic?! Just for that, I'm going to put a ford flathead in a skyline.![]()
Ghost CI'm putting a 5.0 in a Skyline. Who's with me?

dropzoneOn the sound of a ported rotary I can't recall hearing one that's ported and I may have not put too much thought on the sound comparisons, which in the end they would both sound similar dependent on the mods done. But my opinions of the engine swaps remains the same.
High-TestWhy not?!
High-TestWho doesn't want to see 4 stromberg 97s out the hood of an R32? I'm sure one could route the exhaust out the side in odd places....
And with that, I'll sit in the corner and hide.
dropzoneWhen does the project start?

slidesquad#1one of my mates used to have an old 808 with a 13B PP. He had this ridiculously large exhaust set up on it ( think twin 6 inch mufflers) and, I kid you not, you could hear it from a good 5 minutes away. and he used to wear earplugs when he drove it.
Got that right...you could just barely hear yourself talking at idle...and that was between the braps. The really wierd thing was it wasn't particularly quick. But this guy has a thing for automotive unusualness. He sold the rx3 clone, got himself an old mirage hatch. A couple of months later that had an Evo 3 engine in it, running an absurd amount of boost. Wrapped that around a pole because, go figure, 300ish horse+wet road+****ty fwd drivetrain apparently don't mix. Now he's got his mitts on a Mark 3 Supra...how he get's the money to afford this, *shrug*VIPERGTSR0113B peripheral ported rotary with a huge exhaust that would have been torture on the ears. My friend took off his exhaust on his standard 13B and that was damn loud, louder than my 350 chev was off the extractors.
GTRacer4What is that orange and black car?
ND4SPDOh god, there's more than 1 RX-7 out there with that body kit on it?! IMO it makes the RX-7 look downright ugly! Especially in the rear!! Oh ya not to mention the insan 15 grand US price on the kit!
