I want everyone to who has seen this movie to tell us why you liked it, or why you disliked it.


It was okay, IMO. It definitely had a crappy plot, and I think(in fact I know) it would have turned out much better if they had takin' more time to make it, and especially if they would have done a lil' more extensive research into REAL racing, and not just the local "rice racer" street racin'. Anyways, out of 5 stars, I'd give it a..........2

I liked it. I just think the plot sucked. Everything else about the movie was good. This will be added to my DVD collection when it comes out.

anyone else feel like he was trying to get you to say it sucked? The poll kinda felt a little weighted...


i enjoyed the movie... thought the eclispe lived way to short... Although i did enjoy the supra that replaced it.

I loved the energy in the movie, but the plot was a bit silly, and the romance bit was completely unnecessary.

I thought the over-use of Civics smacked of not having a big enough budget to trash some REAL cars.

But what annoyed me about it most was that it was so Americanised (aren't most movies?!). And the end bit with that US car (Dodge Charger??) was faintly ridiculous.

I may buy it when it comes out on DVD, but only to show off the home cinema system but it wasn't a great movie

it was good. my dad didn't like the computer gen. stuff, like going thru the engine and stuff.

the dodge charger (you were right, g.g.) launch, where it stood on the rear wheels and spun the tyres, was fake. they lifted the front up with this jack thingy and airbrushed it out. it'd be impossible otherwise.

I just saw the news the other night and they said that part 2 will be out some time soon. Maybe it will be a bit better .
