You guys know, I'm pulling for the Spurs, but I think Pistons gonna take it. Last few games, have you guys noticed, how tired and beat up Spurs has looked? Especially Ginobili. I'm a little worried. :nervous:

It's going to be one hell of a game, both teams are going to give it there all. I can't wait. You are going to see some great baskerball tomarrow night.

I love a Game 7 for the championship. It doesn't get any better than this (well if my favorite team was one of the contenders – it would but…) yeah it’s still a great series.

Detroit Piston for the win!!

Go Spurs Go!

I'm pulling for the Spurs but I can't help but feel Detroit will defend the title. I don't understand how the Spurs drilled the Pistons in games 1 and 2 then lost it. If it weren't for Robert Horry and that lucky 3 he made, the Pistons would be the champions right now.

Come on Spurs, bring the title to Say town.

Let me just say this....DEEEEETROITTTTT BASSSSSKETTTBALLLLL! Watch the game tonight at 9pm EST at least.

I have a small wager on the game...ok its a large wager.

How "large" is the wager?!

Last time I bet on a game - it was the Mavericks vs Rockets Game 7.

I bet on the Rockets - and they lost by 40 points. Luckly it was only 5 bucks. :sly:

That and quite a bit of money...errr I shouldn't say that, sorry for braggin.

I think, me showing my support with the avatar helped. :sly:

Seriously though, very good series. 👍 I just love how both teams play real "team" ball along with tough defense. Sooooo glad Manu came back! :)

Ok, I'm so happy the Spurs won and all...but why the hell did Tim Duncan get the MVP honors? So what if they guy carried the team in the 2nd half. Did the award givers not take into consideration how bad he played every other finals game?

Ginobli should have been the MVP. :grumpy:

Whaaaaaaaaaaat! I love Ginobili and Parker to death and I even learn to embrace Horry, since he's been a Spur. But whaddaya mean TD isn't the MVP? Ginobili would be the first one to tell you, Tim Duncan is the MVP, not because he's humble, but because he knows that only reason Horry, Parker, Bowen, Barry and himself scored so freely against the tough Detroit "D" is because half of the Pistons' defense were on Duncan. Do you know who Ben Wallace and Rasheed Wallace are? They are two of the top 10 defenders in the world. Tim Duncan took both of those guys by himself lot of times. Yes, there were times he couldn't dominate inside(lots of times, he actually did) or he missed many free throws. But as far as I'm concerned, he worked harder than anybody on either teams, including Ginobili. Was Ginobili as effective as Duncan, I think so. But that was thanks to Duncan as the inside "threat", keeping Detroit defense busy.

My game is 1-3(PG to SF). It's when you have that "big guy" inside(that sounds dirty :yuck: ), you can do most damage. I can get open looks, drive inside freely, sometimes with sweet picks. Most NBA fans have seen it in Kobe/Shaq Lakers, my Blazers had that with Sabonis/Steve Smith, etc.

Well since it's not in me to be a sore loser I must say congrats to all the Spurs fans out there. I'm at least pleased the Pistons went down with glory and didn't get swept. But this is how the Finals should be, two of the best teams up against one another. And hey the throphy is only on loan to the Spurs for a year, it'll come back home next season :D.

I agree with Tim Ducan as the MVP but in the serise Horry would have to be the MVP. I mean he's pretty much the reason the Spurs one. If Detroit had won game 5, they would have taken game 6 and that would have been all she wrote. But since Horry made the amazing 3 pointer he won the series for the Spurs.

Congrats to all the SA Spurs fans!

Houston Rockets.

Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming - should be enough to get pass the first round. They had to face a very hard team - the Dallas Maverick which had a way better bench.

Rockets need a better point gaurd, and power forward.

Houston Rockets = 2006 champions (hoping)

Shaq is rumored to be ending his career in another 5 or 6 year with the Heat. Watch out NBA, because we also want to keep many of our core players from last season. ;)

Indeed – Shaq isn’t going to last much longer. While Dwyane Wade (23-years-old) isn’t even in his prime yet. I think it’s going to be better to have younger players on a good team – to develop. Shaq still has a few years left in his career from what I can see. Those two will make a great duel. But is there a better one?

Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming. I’m a huge fan of the Houston Rockets (Tracy McGrady in particular), I think those two are going to be a great duel. They already prove that they can work as a team – Yao Ming has to be more productive and learn from his mistakes. Neither of them has reached their prime yet. Yao Ming (25-years-old) and T-Mac (26-years-old). T-Mac is a veteran even at his young age; he has been in the NBA for years. He was one of the high school players that actually made it big in the NBA just like Kobe Bryant and KG.

*snickers at own idiocy*
At least, they got Tracy McGrady!.... Oh, wait.... At least they got Air Canada!...... Oh, he plays for the Nets. Maybe they will do something with their lottery pick. :)
