The Finals

What the hell happened to the Spurs? The game is boring to watch when the one team beats the other, I was kinda hoping the Spurs would have showed up. Oh well I still don't have a ton of faith in the Pistions, like you said streaky.

You could say Pistons are streaky, but the Spurs on the otherhand, they completely disappear! I don't want to take anything away from the Pistons. They are playing awesome, especially on the defensive end. But for the Spurs to totally get shut down, like bunch of kids(no offense to any kids reading this), is just unbelievable. They are not even trying! :banghead:

I agree to get beat by 31 points is disappointing. I was hope the games would be within 5.

San Antonio hasn't been a good road team all season. 38-3 at home, just 21-20 on the road. :scared: They played great on the road in the series against Phoenix, but didn't even show up for either game in Detroit so far. I guess it's fortunate for the Spurs that they have home court advantage.

This is definitely a boring year of Finals. Both defending champs, both teams based on defense, both sucking and blowing while they're on the road...

Wow, it finally got exciting! Good thing, i was getting really worried this series was gonna suck all the way through...

NBA officiating. What a bs. I'm very close to being one of those guys, who ditch NBA for some NCAA basketball.

I'm still rooting for the Spurs, but tbh, I'm losing interest really fast. đź‘Ž

I don't even need to watch the damn game I can tell by what my mom yells. End already. :grumpy:
There, there. You got your wish! No double O/T.

P.S. Props to Horry. đź‘Ť

I had a feeling ever since the first two games - that the SPURS would take this series and win the championship. But the Detriot Pistons (the team that I am rooting for) showed up with their great defensive effort in both game 3 & 4. Which really impressed me, especially game 4. Only 4 turnovers - that's a playoff record!!

The game today was really close. When Robert Horry hit the big three - I was literally yelling at Detriot. It ended as I thought - Detriot missing the game winning shot. Too bad.

I'm still rooting for Detriot Pistons in this series, but I still have to go with my guts feeling and say the Spurs win this in 6. Hopefully, Detriot proves me wrong and force a Game 7.

Both teams played good tonight, and we finally got the close game we've been expecting the whole time. Tim Duncan really struggled down the stretch, but what can you say about Robert Horry? If not the best clutch performer of all time, he's definitely one of them. You'd think he wouldn't be able to keep coming up with big plays every single year in the playoffs, but he always does. I was so happy when he hit that three at the end of overtime. I have to say though, what was Detroit thinking? Horry throws it in, and immediately they double Giniboli, and leave Horry wide open. :dunce: Great game. đź‘Ť

Great game - indeed.

I wouldn't consider Robert Horry - the best clutch performer of all time - but like you said - he is one of them. Reggie Miller = best clutch performer. Ever. Either that or Jordan.

I can't believe Detriot - they left the best 3 pointer shooter WIDE OPEN. That was a mistake that they paid for.

I glad it was a good game but the Pistons have a very little chance of pulling it off. Oh well, the better team will win. If the Spurs win good for them since they are a really good team.

Tim Duncan was pissing me off throughout the night. If he would have made half of his foul shots the Spurs would have won the game without heading to overtime. Also, at the buzzer, why didn't he just slam the ball? He hit it like he was playing volleyball.

I know have a grey hair or two because of Duncan. :(

Go Spurs Go!

It is interesting how great, smart player like Duncan can't make an adjustment to make the freethrows. At least he does everything else, almost perfectly. That last putback attempt, I think he lost track of the time. A lot of times, you want to let the ball go, ASAP, before the buzzer sounds. :)

i really missed the bulls era, at least they can score. If I want to wanna see good defenses, ill watch the nfl but this is the nba...........

I don't think MJ and Scottie ever had to play teams like the Spurs and the Pistons. Spurs can score, just ask the Suns. Spurs have hard time picking up the pace now, because they are playing the Pistons. Championship Bulls was an great defensive team, also. I fell in love with the NBA defense, after watching Pippen(he's my 3rd favorite players, all-time). They'd feel, right at home in this year's finals IMO. :)

P.S. I just got home, and I see that it's an close game already. It's at SA, so I like the Spur's chances. :D:tup:

The Suns were never good at defense. All they had was Amare's strength, and even that isn't very good because he's a forward playing center.

Yes, yes and yes. And I still say, ask the Suns. :P

If Tim Duncan doesn't stop missing his freee throws, I'm going to murder him.

Anyhow, after the game ended I headed to San Antonio. It was crazy guys. Spurs lost but that was more of a reason to hit the streets with being crazy on your mind. It was great. Bumper to bumper traffic downtown with everyone blowing horns and yelling crap. Girls flashing left and right, cops busting everyone, ricers trying to showoff..it was a good time.

That's what i'm saying though; the Suns' only defense was their awesome offense. Whenever they face a patient team, any patient team, they get crushed. It's not that hard. :P

Wow I'm shocked at the way the series is going, I thought for sure the Spurs would win it in 5 after watching games 1 and 2. It's anyones game, and it's going to be one helluva game tomarrow night. Both teams deserve to be there and at this point, while I still am rooting for Detroit, I won't be overly disappointed if the Spurs win.
