We all know the UI in GT7 is... unique, to say the least. There have been other threads about how problematic and unintuitive the menu options are distributed, but the following example in particular, gets upseting over time.
To me Gran Turismo has always been a plataform for testing unique and unusual car builds, which means that I'll be spending a lot of time tuning an unconventional car, to make it competitive, or just for the fun of it. Usually, to do it I'll go for the time trial option for a particular race track, and this is the step by step of the fine tuning process:
Just after installing all the car parts I judged necessary, comes the first test, going around a few laps (or a few corners if Nordschleife is the track of choice) to see how the car behaves. Then it's time to go back to the tuning menu, to do that we first need to exit the track, no problem so far:
Don't mind the language, t's in brazilian portuguese, but you get the point.
After that, there is another screen, showing the best time lap:
After we admire our best effort, comes the replay screen:
And then, we are finally at the track options menu, we go all the way to the car configuration menu:
Go to the detailed options:
And finally, here we are:
Now it's time to adjust every minor setting, go back to the track, see if it was effective and go back to this screen to make another adjustments.
When tuning a car, this process repeats over and over again. To set the tuning the way I desire, going through the exeting menus over and over again makes the experience really annoying. PD probably won't fix it, but it would be good if we didn't need to go through 6 screens plus the loading times just to tune a car. It's a bit too much.
