I just prefer the normal production cars and racecars. All games try to show of with super and hypercars. It's just boring to see. Graawwwmmhhhh we have the aventador ffffffrriiieahhhhh we have the F430.

When I see the Premium Alpine however, that's something that makes me smile.

But this game will have cars for everyone :)

The career wouldn't progress going from an abarth to a race car. It's the whole point of building up your ability with more power and grip and being able to say 'grawwwwhhhhhhh Aventador' :)

I will be fine with the X1 as long as they put restrictions, such as you can use it in Arcade mode(versing other X1's), photo mode, time trial. But you will not be able to use it in A/B spec races unless there is a designated event.

6. Mazda RX-7
 
I honestly don't feel that any car deserves to be kicked out. Being slow, old, tiny or heavy is not an excuse.

The Tank Car, for example is a really nice cruiser, it looks and sounds great. The Dodge Ram is... well, it's part of Gran Turismo and I would miss it. NASCAR stock cars are meh... but they offer a different type of driving experience, so they are welcome to stay.

The only car that I would definitely have as a candidate for the trash bin, even after the effort the PD must have made along with Red Bull, is that car... The X2010 and all its versions.

Other cars would be repetitions that you can truly not notice the difference at all. Like the Renaults and Lutecias, and some GTR's, Miatas and EG Civics.

Whose fault is it?

The X1 can't enter a room set up with the slightest bit of effort. Plus removing the car won't do anything except decrease in game content because as soon as it is gone, you'll be rammed by something else.

Removing cars is quite simply pointless in every case.

We need more control given to the room host and more options for managing bad players. What we don't need is a "solution" that does nothing to fix the problem.

That's not a reason to remove them. Unless by overused, you meant duplicated.

I rethought what I said..yea you're right. I did mean duplicated but you have to admit duplicated cars ARE sorta pointless. (MNP II, MNP III, etc)

No car should be removed. The whole point of GT is that you get a chance to discover and enjoy cars that you might never have heard of previously. The only cars that should be removed are the ones that actually make PD look lazy.

- Remove duplicates that don't exist in real life. Miatas with Japanese trim names, yeah okay.
- Remove duplicates that are just a different model year. What's the difference between a '91 and a '92 Civic SiR-II anyway? An extra year on your warranty? Come on.
- Remove duplicates that are pointless. R34 Midnight Purple Edition? No just let me paint a V-Spec II purple.
- Remove inaccurate cars or actually put the effort into fixing them. The 240SX is not a 180SX with a badge swap. It has a different set of bumpers and a completely different engine.
- Remove standard duplicates of premium cars and then remake them as premiums. Modelling the slight differences between trim levels shouldn't take more than a day per car.
 
For me personaly, just cut the duplicates, by doing this you could cut around 100 cars from the game and replace them for diferente cars. There is no need to cut other cars from the game (and why the hell did they cut those two awesome FPVs in GT5?).

THE HARDEST OF THEM ALL?! AND THE CAR IS USELESS
 
There's a difference. In GT2 PD took (surprisingly) much more care in getting all of the details of most of the "duplicates" right; whereas in GT5/GTPSP they did not.

I liked the Model T. Did a hilarious Time Trial at Seattle Reverse with it once.
 
I usually go with the "don't remove any car, we already got them anyway" idea, but after trying the current GT5 online time trial I gotta say that if there's a car I wish never made it to GT is that damn Red Bull. It just makes my G27 clunk and rumble it's gears so awkwardly, it's so ridiculously annoying to drive...ugh...

I know Kaz wanted to show what can be done without limits, yadda, yadda, yadda, but it's the worse sim-racing experience I've ever had.
 
Though a lot of people love it, I would be quite glad if the 370z was gone, not having to race against that bulbous eyes sore would make me pretty happy. I hate having to look at it. Though that's hardly a good reason to get rid of a car.
