The five cars that you DO NOT want in GT6.

I'm sorry, but why the hell do people want things like the Yellowbird and the Veyron gone? Especially the Veyron! I mean, sure,it isn't the best car to drive and most drivers of it online are annoying, but you simply cannot put an iconic car in a driving game just because it's fast or something.

It is funny cuz some want Veyron gone but want cars like huayra and venom gt added......same class people.

But the Huayra can actually handle a track, and the veyron can't.

Cliche misconception.

Let's see, with all that weight under its belt and all that power and torque. Do you expect it to turn. And on a side note VW plans to make a 1,600 power veyron next year, do you think it will be able to race? All VW does is take its veyron and test it on a strait line all the time.

On my phone so I can't embed it, but this kind of defeats your argument

Skip to 6:00 for the actual lap.
And it's interesting to note, most of the cars that are faster than it are ultralight trackday specials.

I really wish that PD never puts historical cars on any upcoming series.
well, they can, but DEAR GOD DON'T MAKE THEM AS A REWARD FOR THE S-LICENSE(especially gold!). i mean, in GT2 you get a GT-ONE Race Car for getting all gold on the S-License, and don't say that it's too much for something like that because S-License is hell on earth. getting gold on all the licenses on this series is harder than the actual gameplay(unless the opponents are actually challenging).

Lol the s licenses were the easiest ones but really there were only about 4 out of 60 that were really hard.

And you say no more historical cars.

So if they added Senna's MP4/4 or a Lancia 037 or even at a long stretch a Porsche 917/30 you would never use them or maybe own the game all because you say historical cars are rubbish? So instead of these amazing legendary machines you want a new Veyron or the La Ferrari because they are the newest best thing. Older cars are something so much more than these gutless modern cars. You really have a lot to learn if you say that PD should never put historical cars on any upcoming series.

What does horsepower have to do with anything? Since when does it make it harder to corner?

And with all that weight comes an advanced AWD system, fast shifting transmission with decent ratios for a 250 mph car, massive brakes, and well engineered suspension. The only thing the Veyron really suffers in is when it comes to rapid transitions. It has comparable grip to most supercars which gives it comparable cornering speed and braking. On corner exit the grip and AWD make it quite quick and all that power means it's going to out accelerate most things above 150 mph even if the weight is hurting its power/weight ratio.

The Veyron isn't my favorite car, but to say it can't turn doesn't make sense.

And about that whole can't turn thing, does that even matter? Drag racers aren't exactly nimble but there seems to be a whole sport built around them. People race trucks on circuits, not just pickup trucks but full size trucks.

If it has wheels, it probably fits in a GT game.

But the Huayra can actually handle a track, and the veyron can't.

Most people simply underestimate the speed they are approaching corners in the Veyron with. They brake too late, and then they wonder why they are not making the corner and rant about understeer.

As a matter of fact, the Veyron in stock form is one of (if not the) fastest (road) cars on ANY track in GT5. I was quite surprised how nimble and well behaved it is even on custom kart tracks. For its speed, it's definitely easy to drive as well.

They might just dislike American cars?

Whether you like American cars or not, those are too iconic to NOT want in a car racing game. Not wanting those kind of cars in the game is similar to the people not wanting the Veyron in.

X2010

X2011 (even if they are fun to make s**t with them)

Alfa 4C

Alfa 8C

Fiat Multipla... hahaha

I think the reasons for the RBs are clear... why I do not want the Alfas? I can not stand them... in my opinion they are ugly... ugly as the Multipla
(for some reason I actually like the new Viper-based TZ3, this one is beautiful..:))

X20s
Ford GT (No Stripe)
Duplicate region cars (Fairlady LM vs 350Z LM or Renault vs Lutecia)

But regardless of how iconic they may be some people may still not want them in the game. Different people have different views.

It should be required to give a reason for not wanting a car in the game. It's all too easy to get people riled up simply by posting a list of popular cars like this:

Mustang
Camaro
Corvette
Viper
Ford GT

I actually think that with a bigger car list GT6 will do better than GT5 - I am basically a car collector, so I don't mind no Tank Car or Veyron.. And got to say - even that I am a huge Skyline fan - there are way too much versions of the skyline in comparison to other cars. It doesn't bother me the fact that 1/15th of its car list is made up of skylines. What bothers me is that other road cars such as Fiat Punto (don't hate - just giving an example - punto is largely appreciated by the tuning community here in portugal) or family wagons or even pick up trucks have no place in this game.. At least if they are going to make a Touring/Racing based car list, add some ****ing Group B/C cars.

Why not?

You hear this a lot, but when you get down to it there is no difference between a station wagon and a race car, especially as they appear in GT.

Its true. PD think because they are a Japanese company they can get away with flooding the game with almost every version of every one of their car manufacturers. Right down to the really crap ones. No one wants!!!!

Right, because GT5 has all eleven generations of the Toyota Corolla.

Biased as it is, even Polyphony has priorities. I don't think there are Japanese cars in GT5 that no one wants; rather, there are not enough cars from other parts of the world that people want.
