Seeing a Micra CC today reminded me of the Mitsubishi's version of the hardtop convertible supermini.

2009 Kia Borrego, Kia's largest SUV. I think of these as Kia Suburbans, because both are V8 powered, truck based, and large. It looked pretty good, but was a sales disaster. It was only sold in the states for one year, and sold roughly 5,000 units.

That car was a magnificent piece of engineering, but it's too bad it was released at a time when big personal luxury coupes were fading away. If it was introduced 10 years earlier than it would be a real sales success.
 
Ford EXP is not extinct it seems. I saw one yesterday with blue smoke trailing. It is basically the Escort ZX2 of it's day. Still interesting to see at least one still alive.
