Honda Odyssey J (Or simply Odyssey if you live elsewhere in Asia or Europe).

We already getting the North American version of Honda Odyssey yet Honda thought it would be a great idea to sell the "International" version along side in the Middle East. Guess what? People still preferred the larger and powerful US made one like this one below:

I don't understand why these two variants exist. THEY'RE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CARS for christ sake. Honestly though, I prefer the US one. It's a lot like the previous gen Odyssey.

Speaking of Lincoln's....

Lincoln LS. Could have gotten it in a V6 or a V8, both supplied by Jaguar. My family had one of these, back when were still a Ford family. I think we had the V8.

The only Lincoln car i really remember is the Town Car. Everything else seems to be hardly rememberable.

^ The Odyssey name has been split up into North American & Global specs since 1999:

Every now and again, I remember the Subaru Baja exists.

^ The Baja Turbo ones are cool (and very rare in 5MT) too!

Same story with Corolla's from the late 90's or Civic's from late 2000's. Never understood the need to have two or more different types of a car for different markets.

Although I'm actually more than happy to get all sorts of different versions.

I feel like I've only seen the Lincoln MKS as a hotel shuttle or rental "limo."

-> I like the pre-facelift version better:

^ This MKS had a better design profile, even compared with the 'ruined' (IMHO) Taurus.

The 1999-2002 Ford TS50. Literally the only reason I know it's existence is because of NFS Hot Pursuit 2.

Not a bad looking car in my opinion 👍
^ The TS50 should've been in GT3, to begin with just to compliment the [R] Tickford XR8.

Hillman

I only knew the existence of that manufacturer because my grandpa used to own a Hillman (not sure which one but from 50's/60's) as his first car while working in the British embassy.

Lexus IS 250

We never got the IS 250 and the IS350 for the second generation Lexus IS but we got the IS300 instead. While someone in my area owns a US Spec IS350, I rarely ever hear someone talks about the IS 250 and I only saw it once over here.

Here's a car I always forget exists. The 964 RS America, the closest thing to a Rennsport we got in the U.S. until the 997 GT3 RS 3.6. Sold as a 1993 and 1994 model and only in North America (duh), 701 were made although you'd be lucky to see one as they are highly collectible.

I feel like I saw one somewhere in New England. Either it was the Lime Rock Park Concours or a Larz Anderson lawn event.

With "hype" with the upcoming Chevrolet Bolt. I can't help but think about GM's failed luxury EV. The Cadillac ELR. I remember my local Cadillac dealer had the same one sitting on their lawn for two years.

I've said it before, but that works far, far better than it has any right to. Better than most of the Ferrari knock off kits, even.

Does your Cadillac have a leaking exhaust, somewhere right underneath the driver seat or something? :P

At events it might be more likely to see one. Though, I've been to Lime Rock many, many times, as well as other car events in New England, I've only seen a handful of these RS Americas so far. You'd think 700 cars is plenty enough to at least see a few around right? Fun fact though, the picture I used is a from a Porsche dealer here in CT which sells some seriously rare cars.

Today i saw gem like in this picture. Escorts used to be everywhere and then they silently rusted away. Escort rs turbo versions were awesome.

I've been enamored by these for the longest time, and while I have a soft spot for the more overt neo-classics by Zimmer and others, the Quicksilver is far more approachable.

Opel/Vauxhall Tigra

This is probably the only remaining Opel in this country. I believe ever since late 90's or early 2000's, the opel nameplate is gone from the market over here.

Edit: looks like opel still exist here but it's almost impossible to spot any new ones on the road.

Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6. Although, I do feel like I see them at the local car shows. The ones where they put those creepy peek-a-boo dolls at.
