The Free-for-all GT Racing Club: ALL RACES SUSPENDED (Read OP for details)Open

IMPORTANT NOTICE CONCERNING THE BMW VGT'S USAGE IN THE FFAGTRC

As you may be aware, Vision GT cars are banned as "prototypes" in the FFAGTRC. However, the new BMW M235i VGT has been deemed equal to most GT cars already racing.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF THE CAR IS EXCESSIVELY DOMINANT, IT MAY BE BANNED WITHOUT WARNING.

Please note that the definition of an "enduro" race has changed owing to update 1.07:

Rules regarding enduro races, dated April 16, 2014:
"An FFAGTRC 'enduro' race is a type of racing held over a set distance, usually spanning a x2 longer distance when compared to a 'sprint' race, and may be held in changeable weather conditions."

Rules regarding enduro races, dated May 14, 2014:
"An FFAGTRC 'enduro' race is a timed race, usually lasting 4-7 minutes. When the time expires, the race will finish at the end of the current lap."

So is the Honda HSV-010 banned then as I kept winning in that??
No. I never said that it was "excessively dominant" in my life. What I mean is that if the new BMW VGT is finishing hours ahead of the other cars, it will be added to a blacklist of banned cars (I may add one here later).

Today's race goes to the green hell... albeit on a smaller scale.

NOTE: The BMW VGT is now officially an allowed car in the FFAGTRC. Just be aware that if it is excessively dominant, it may be banned without warning.

See you on the track!

Apparently, I just changed to BT Infinity yesterday, and out of the blue I am experiencing intermittent dropouts. Because of this, the Nurburgring race will not take place today. It WILL happen on Sunday, though, no matter what tries to stop me.

The race at the Nurburgring has been cancelled due to a lack of interest. Now, the race has been relocated to Monza:

WARNING: You are NOT permitted to use the Mitsubishi XR PHEV-GT, Lotus 97T or Senna F3 Car.
See you on the track at 5:30!

I have decided to quit as winning races is too easy and only lost 1 race (by .006).

The main reason I am quitting is that I don't have much time free to start with due to my job and have a lot of side projects I am working on. The other reasons are that it's fun winning but gets boring after a while and not everyone spends time tuning their cars for the race before hand.

Have fun racing without me.

NO! If you leave, I'll have to shut the entire club...

RACE SUSPENSION ANNOUNCEMENT
I have decided to quit.
I
NO! If you leave, I'll have to shut the entire club...
Shut the club? No.....!!!!! :(
Well real life is more important and GT6 doesnt pay my bills.
Nobita Nobi (FFAGTRC engineer)
You still can't shut the club.
I
Think, think, think... you can't shut the club, but you can't race without xZAMGMarmite...
I
OK, here's what I'm going to do. I'll tell you all in a GTP forum post.
Nobita Nobi (FFAGTRC engineer)
Fine then, just tell me quickly!

Owing to the tragic loss of one of my closest members here in the FFAGTRC, ALL FUTURE RACES ARE GOING TO BE CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
I fully understand that xZAMGMarmite can't race forever, but this is just a few weeks in. Until he comes back, the FFAGTRC will remain open, but no race meetings will be held. Let's get some FAQs out of the way first:

But I still want to race with Luigi!

Don't worry, you can still see me (TheLuigi755) online. If you want to join me faster, add Luigi755 to your PSN friends list.

What about everyone else?

You can still race with the other members if you find them, their PSN IDs should be below their GTP name and flag.

Will standard FFAGTRC regulations apply?

No. As I will be racing with other hosts, you should talk to the host to learn the rules. These will vary from lobby to lobby.

Are you still holding races?

Yes! I am still going to hold races outside of the FFAGTRC. I am planning an Indycar series with the new Lotus 97T, and I am hoping to start more series in the future when I gain more experience. Keep an eye on my posts for future developments!

Anyways, I deeply regret that I have to do this. The club WILL be holding more races eventually, just not at this current time.

Until then...

...I hope to see you again sometime.

-Stay sweet!
