At first I was going to post a joke reply saying that I didn't see a resemblance. Than I thought more about it and realized she likely got paid to write that, now I'm depressed.
And it actually was published on April 1st, with the other 11 comparisons being of real people to cartoons
Not sure what she was going for, but it certainly works as a troll to internetizens who are quick to say "ha-ha, you idiot" (in often more colourful terms). The 9gag thread is classic - every so often someone points out that it's a joke/troll... but is completely ignored
Clearly she's visiting the spot where her *however many greats it should be* grandpappy died during the Civil War and it was very traumatic because they were so close.
