Just finished The Place Promised In Our Early Days. I'd say it's worth a watch. The story is good (IMO) and has likeable characters but the pacing is out of whack and I don't think it went into the characters' relationships enough. Overall though it's not a bad film. The animation is superior at least.

Agreed.

And lame-o was his name-o!

Agreed.

Oh FYI for the complaints about lack of variety in the recent avatars: Couldn't find good stuff; it's not that weren't a lot of tsugumi or ayases. There were a LOT... that sucked and looked like the stuff you had last night-now in the drain mixed with a rotten stink of a thousand years.

I say that I hate Anime because not all Titles actually attract to me. I have a few series that I would sit down and watch but I have alot of OVA's, Live actions, and Movies that I would love to own.

Then they shouldn't have started the show, goddamn it. I really wish animation companies would stop doing that.
You do realize anime ends up being promotion right? Also, they wait until the manga is done, and the popularity just goes down to where not enough money can be made. After all, most manga last for at least 15 volumes, and a couple years. There is a big reason why they start the anime when they do (Like 2 years after the manga starts.).

InuYasha's popularity went down after it finished after 56 volumes. Reason why InuYasha: The Final Act squeezed in 30 volumes into 26 episodes was because if they had done another adaption like the first anime (Which was 167 episodes, and covered 25 some volumes.), it wouldn't have been worth it, the money wouldn't be there.

But you didn't laugh at anything else? What the hell is wrong with you?!!!:grumpy:

Oh see, in that case. It's perfectly fine for them to wreck a show's quality with filler or a bad ending because it's only just a promotion for the manga!

It all makes sense now! They're not assholes because it's a marketing strategy.

Pretty much this.

Wanting to cash in on popularity doesn't excuse ruining an anime adaptation of a manga. And if a show's genuinely good, it shouldn't matter if the popularity of the manga has since died down. People will still watch it, and people will still buy it.

What is this new avatar crazyness?! I'm gonna have to switch to Ryuuko at this rate.

Yeah but I was actually looking forward to it lol.

But I'm looking forward to it too...the school's got a new building starting from this term, after all!

Oh yeah, and my school's still called Langley. Or Asuka Langley, as you would put it here.

A room like this is known as an Itabeya [痛部屋[いたべや]]. The kanji "痛" is now commonly used to refer to illustrations of cute 2D girlies being plastered over any type of object - a car for example is called Itasha [痛車[いたしゃ]] - here is an example.
