What Medusa?
Actually, that is a spoiler, lol. Try looking behind the heroic spirits.

Ah Sailor Moon, what was really big on Toonami back in the early 2000's during the anime boom, and the series is long OOP here.

I'm a fan, though I'm waiting for the series to eventually come back into print so I can see all of it. It's only a matter of time until America joins in the worldwide revival of the series that started in like Italy.

On a side-note, the series recently turned 20.
While the characters are still in their early 20's

More on Sailor Moon, I sometime should try picking up the manga later this year. Kodansha USA has gotten a lot of praise for bringing the series back in print (Especially with how they improved things.). The series has been absolutely destroying the competition (Even Naruto, Bleach, and Vampire Knight. One Piece, eh it struggles here.) on the New York Times Manga Bestseller List with each new volume released.

And with that, goodnight.

Finished Usagi Drop, and wow, the show just kept getting better through and through. Overall 10/10, and it's now my 6th favorite anime.

Heavily, heavily recommended. I now see why this was considered by so many to be the best anime of 2011.

@ first pic... first word comes into mind is Cano-moe.

That's the best moe.

Why are you so scared of Cano? He's a Glasses-Moe. No need to be afraid of him.

He does need to be afraid. Very.

But we came to the conclusion that you were wrong.

Yup, Sephy knows.

Still don't think she's cute, regardless.

Yeah, needs glasses.

Searched a whole thread but couldn't find any debate about Sailor Moon. Any fans ?

My wife was a full-on moonie back in the day. I watched it for a while but even at that tender age I could not handle the diabethes and dropped it. We have a friend who is still a full-on moonie though, she's even watched the live action for God's sake.

More on Sailor Moon, I sometime should try picking up the manga later this year.

The Moon manga is horrid and awesome at the same time; horrid because Takeuchi's drawing style conssisted in changing the hair style to every Sailor gurl while drawing their faces exactly the same (she herself said that) and it ALL has shinny stuff, EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE. The good part is that it is way shorter than the anime, of course, and also, according to our moonie friend, VERY dark in it's final stages.

I only read a bit of it and never really paid much attention to it. Why? Because the other side of the Mixxzine contained Rayearth. YES I'M SUCH A RAYEARTH FANBOY I BOUGHT THE MIXXXZINE BECAUSE OF IT. IN PINK PAPER.

true story.

Shana III 22, ugh, this wasn't as bad as episode 21, but still pretty bad. The same issues that the third season has been suffering the entire time are still very much apparent.

Seriously, what on earth happened? Season 1 was awesome, season 2 even more awesome, but season 3 is garbage. What do you get when you pile garbage writing and garbage writing on top of each other? The answer is Shakugan no Shana III (Final).

What is with J.C. Staff and popular light novel adaptions lately anyway? From what I've heard with Zero no Tsukaima (The Familiar of Zero), that too has problems. The majority opinion seems to be this (Note I have yet to see the series, so I have no opinion on it.).

Season 1: Good
Season 2: Great
Season 3: Garbage
Season 4: It stinks even worse than season 3

I don't know about that as I have only read the first Shakugan no Shana light novel, and none of the The Familiar of Zero light novels. I haven't really heard much on what the light novels for both series actually are like.

I don't know who to blame for season 3 being bad, J.C. Staff, or the source material. Either way, season 3 is terrible.

Well he said season 4 stinks more than 3, but s3 is garbage, so I wanted to know what smells worse than garbage; in other words, what is the equivalent of season 4? SO relevant, my friend, SO relevant. Want crabs? :mischievous:

Inb4peopleagreeespeciallyloli

Is that really what it's about? It's supposed to be about golden spiky hair guys powering up too long!
