Ok. I finished Madoka.

I mean COME ON.
It was fun watching Sayaka die and become a witch and stuff but the anticipation of something huge happening, and nothing huge happening was dissapointing. Madoka's attitude pisses me off way too much, she couldn't become a mahou shoujo earlier and not have so much crap happen? And her death/self sacrifice seemed kinda pointless when you find out that regardless of her being there or not, there are still more creatures invading earth.

I'm not gonna even start.

She never wanted to stop "creatures" from "invading earth". She wanted to take the suffering off the girls who chose to become magic gurls. ALL of them. 'Side, I don't know if you understood what those "creatures" are in the last place. If you did, tou'd see there is no way in heck they can be removed. Also lol at something huge not happening. Yeah, nothing huge, just changed the ourse of ALL HISTORY. Everyday crap.

I meant that I was expecting to see a much more dramatic and less......bright ending to the whole thing. It didn't seem nearly as "dark" as everyone was saying. But even right now after the new creatures came, isn't the same trend of girls having to carry some Kyubei burden around basically repeating? And yeah, she did change history, but all she had to do was make a simple wish, she was only a mahou shoujo for like, 10 minutes and then pretty much died. I'd rather have seen her suffer more dramatically.

Hello everyone! It's been awhile, hasn't it? Yes, I know I come and go. :dunce: (Don't ask why. Seriously, I don't know) I'm staying, though. I'm a more social "Ryou" now.

I have to say, I still hate it just as much as I did before finishing it, perhaps more.

Finally someone who agrees with me!

No, I am just joking. I never really hated the show.. I actually really liked it. I don't know why I hid it (:dunce:). I guess I am very secretive. I always liked the character Madoka too, but especially Sayaka :P.

In other words:

I've been watching Spice and Wolf along with Code Geass lately. They're both quite good. Enjoying them.

Anyways, see you all tomorrow.

So she had to suffer more than in the God-knows-how-many-arcs homura did and re-did? Sure. Why would she had to suffer in the first place?

You know what, I think i'm with Sly in here, it's like you missed the entire point of the series.

Yes, she did suffer in all of the times Homura went back in time but all Madoka appeared to be doing was worrying for Sayako and deciding whether she wanted to become a shoujo or not. She didn't show the amounts of sufferage she was going through. I do get the point of the show but I suppose I'm not phrasing anything correctly >_>

That's because Madoka's character is meek, and she feels useless and good for nothing.

Madoka was a Puella Magi before Homura. So Homura was just a tag along until the Madoka defeated the Walpurgis Night at the cost of her own life by using too much magic and tainting her Soul Gem, which would turn her into a witch. Since they both saw what happened to Sayaka, Madoka wanted to die before turning into a witch.

Homura had to kill her best friend.

Homura had to kill her best friend many, many times, which is why she turned cold. Her sole purpose was to stop Madoka from becoming a Puella Magi because Madoka's witch form is so freakishly powerful, but Homura's meddling caused all those timelines to focus on Madoka which made Madoka a more powerful Puella Magi everytime, and also a more powerful witch.

And about those monsters at the end.

Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but only converted from one form to another, and apparently a girl's sorrow is a source of energy and is what the Kyuubei's harvest to keep the universe from imploding on itself.

Also, apparently a Grief Seed is an embodiment of said energy, and is made from Puella Magi who lost all hope and turned into a witch and died a horrible death.

Since Madoka's wish was to eliminate all witches before they were born, there are no witches to harvest grief seeds from, so that energy just took the form of giant monsters. Also, since Madoka is no exception to her wish, she herself turns into a witch, but because of her wish it creates a paradox, she eliminates her own witch form and her entire physical being and transcends as a god.

Also, Homura is the only Puella Magi left. Didn't you get the little bit at the end of what Kyuubei said about making contracts with girls to eventually have them turn into witches and harvest their Grief Seeds? He thought it was a brilliant idea.

Now, explain what you felt what was missing or what made the ending feel rushed and incomplete. :)

Asks someone to explain something. Gets up and leaves before they do. :P

But yeah, Lambo... Madoka's pretty damn good. No idea why you didn't like it... your "reasons" don't exactly compute.

But I'm mainly just mad that you finished watching Madoka when you were sure you'd dislike it, when you could've been watching Bokurano instead.

Ok, the only part I was missing was the "no witches to harvest grief seeds from, so that energy just took the form of giant monsters" part.

I take the rushed part back, but I still feel empty because all along the show I was on the edge to see Madoka turn into a shoujo, it was entertaining until you see that she sacrifices herself.

Now, I'm not against her sacrificing herself, I just wanted more friggin' impact. The part where she is holding Homura in the end, I'd prefer that it made me sentimental instead of punch my screen. Sure she turned into a god, which is pretty epic, but I don't get the satisfaction from it. I really can't explain it, it's like missing the epic moment following her transformation.

I will now. I opted to finish Madoka cause it was short.

I need to read Frozen Teardrop at some point.

I need to understand the deal with Heero's new nickname.

I watched some of Hatsune Miku's stuff for the first time ever a little earlier today.

Did you know they actually have a Kids React to her.

And she's apparently more authentic than Lana del Rey.

And her voice is high.

And she was the original Nyan Cat.

More epic awesome than fit enough to have 30k+ pics of herself on Zerochan.

Speaking of Zerochan...it is unbelievable how much Touhou is on there. 7k more pics than Miku even!
