So, lately I've been watching older 80's series and OVAs. It seems that's where my heart is.

I rewatched a film I saw years ago, thanks to 4chan /m/ posters, which is completely awesome, Daimajuu Gekitou Hagane no Oni. It features work from a famous Macross mechanical designer, and one of my favorite Japanese people in the world, Masami Obari.

On my list to watch next is Macross II.

First suit is actually from 0083 Stardust Memory. I enjoyed that OVA as a kid and still do today as it was one of the first OVAs that really got me into Gundam. Most people won't agree with me on it being good, but I like it.

What kind of Gundam fanatic would hate 0083?

I also need to sit down and watch V Gundam. The last episode I saw was from a stream last year (Ha! I can say that ) .

The best part of the ruined camp trip scene is when Yuuko pretends the curry is vomit by faking a gag.

Not many people picked up on it but if you did, you'd be laughing pretty hard at how humourously clever she gets in tight situations.

Amazingly, I actually found like 5 that I'd be willing to watch. Also, Hideaki Anno working with Leiji Matsumoto. Cool.
