After reading about Shirobako, does anyone have any sort of opinion on it? Seems like an interesting concept to me.

Indeed. I'll wait until judgement comes from whoever is wathing this, either here or in ARM, but it sure looks like an interesting thing to watch.

I tried to give Shirobako's first ep a try, but when it involves the "let's all work hard together, friends!" moe-girls group, my interest plummets. The concept of telling the tale of real anime studio life and struggles through anime is cool.

It's a neat way to open the eyes of those unaware of the exhausting lifestyle studio staff members have to put up with. As much as I enjoy animating, I don't want that kind of lifestyle.

But anyway, if you like something like Shirobako, I recommend Bakuman. 2 high school boys who enjoy doing manga-related work join together in a mission to being successful manga artists. It's an inspirational story. Worth giving a try if you're looking to be pumped up.

Shirobako calls me more because, well, even if mangaing is a complex process, animating is much more so and involves more than -alegedly, as I know nothing abpout Bakuman- two characters... plus they're girls and some may have glasses lololol.

But nah, moe aside, I find the anime process way more interesting than the manga process, and since I don't want to be "pumped up", but the interest solely relies on seeing the process and the lifestyle, Shirobako wins me. Plus, as you know, I draw, and my brother also does this professionaly, so the manga/comic process has less mistery to me than the animation process, which I've never done. Not even a .gif, lol.

Psycho Pass 9

Along with the music, that one bit sent satisfiable shivers throughout my body. The impact was more horrifying than the crazy artist in season 1, even though the visuals were less wild and gruesome.

I don't see any resemblance...

...especially in the chest region. :3

The colour schemes?
Technically alike costume?
OK, Lisia is teal not green. Except teal is a blue-green mix. So it still stands.

Now watching Shirobako
I am caught up with FoG and FSN:ubw

First ep of Shirobako
there is racing and drifting lol

Wtf!! and where can I get the song?
It's not released yet, I think. I managed to get an mp3 of it from reddit not too long ago. Can't find the thread anymore though. I'll send it to you.

I also got a 60fps copy of it and, I tell you. meme in 60fps is glorious!

What's that word for when you find Monogatari extremely offensive in many regards and unbearably tedious in most of the others and yet you still inexplicably have a mild obsession with it?
