I've just thought about something...the heads of EVAs look a lot like the heads of Covenant Elites from the Halo series IMHO. Also, another thing...how would Asuka do in a touge duel in Initial D? I would say she would drive something German, maybe a TT RS or a 1 Series M.

Didn't really get into it yet! The animation is top-notch if I say so myself, based on what I saw and heard about. And yes... They definitely changed up the characters (Asuka especially ) and some of the plot (I never cared for this so-called Mari). I guess one could say if anyone can get over the changes from NGE to this, it can be enjoyable... I find both interesting though !

End of Evangelion did mind-blow me, just wanted to add that .
