The highpoint of Bleach for me was when I stopped watching and started only reading it. The Bount filler arc or whatever was just terrible.

Shana III episode 11 once again shows just how much the quality has dropped, good lord.

We start off with many years having passed since the end of the TV series, and Kaoru keeps visiting the harbor waiting for Kenshin to come back.

Then we go into flashback and recap mode with new animation, and surprisingly, it didn't really turn out all that bad. I actually really enjoyed this part, especially up to where they got to the epic Kyoto arc.

Seems Kenshin in the beginning was dying. He had an unknown, incurable disease, and later on we saw him losing his memories. He barely could remember who Sanosuke was.

Nice how Kenji ran away from home, and tried to get trained in Hiten-Mitsurugi style from Kenshin's mentor. Kenji looks almost exactly like Kenshin did when he was under Seijiro Hiko. And he's very similar in certain aspects.

I see Enishi returned wanting revenge for Kenshin killing his sister Tomoe. This was one of the many epic parts of Reflection, and I must say it was well done, but unfortunately a little rushed.

The last part of this OVA was definitely depressing. As I said earlier, Kenshin is suffering from memory loss, and his disease is significantly worse than in the beginning. Kaoru voluntarily got the disease as she wanted to suffer with Kenshin.

It was sad to see in the end that just as Kenshin got to Kaoru that he moments later died, and his scar disappeared. The legend of Hikitori Battosai is over. The story behind his scar, I hope it got passed down to Kenji, just like his reverse-edged sword did (Though that was originally passed down to Yahiko, who later passed it down to Kenji.). It's a story well worth keeping in the family line.

I wonder how things will turn out with Kenji and his girlfriend as in the end we had Kenji much older, and with a girl who makes me think a bit of Kaoru.

This is just simply beautiful, but it has one of the saddest endings I've ever seen. It actually made me cry.

It's definitely going to be well worth buying just like Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal was definitely well worth buying. 10/10

Shouldn't be surprising because Tite Kubo is a major troll.

Also unfortunately he wants to keep Bleach going for another 10 years. I wanted more, but 10, even 5 more years is just overkill on a series like Bleach.

But... regarding the stuff about Clannad's opening...

No offense, but... are you 🤬-ing serious?
First half is some simple 3D effects (snow particles, running through field), which look decent enough but are by no means impressive from a technical perspective. Then the rest of it is looped animations of characters standing still with flowing hair, overlapping scenes from the show... come on.

I'll agree that it looks good, but from a technical perspective, top-notch it ain't. More impressive to see openings containing flashy high-quality 2D animation not actually used in the course of the show, such as Darker Than Black's.

I saw only episode 3 last night, and I first saw 1 and 2 last week. Good gawd I'm slow.

Anyway, yeah I'm definitely enjoying it. I'm kinda surprised by it. The show flows so well, and before I know it, the episode is already over. Why must they be so short?

Also, it has such great comedy, and action. I love Fuko (Is that the girl's name? I be horrible with names.) kicking the blonde haired guy like nuts. I love watching that hit meter go up by a lot, it's so hilarious.

The best I can say about Clannad's opening is that it's pretty. I really like the snowy scene and the song as well. I prefer After Story's... but After Story > Clannad all the way.

Fuko is the little girl with the starfish, she's ditzy. You're thinking of Tomoyo and the blonde dude is Sunohara.

Just my opinion, bro. I found some things in Clannad humorous, but that particular gag just wasn't one of 'em.

Anway, to change the subject...

Think I'll crack open another can of badass and continue watching FMAB. Haven't watched any of it the last few days, and thus my average episodes per day dropped from 6 to 4.

Current estimated time until I complete FMAB is 4-21 days, though due to holiday stand-down, I'm willing to bet it'll be closer to 4... if not lower.
