I'm reviving this 7+ year old thread because we really need a catch-all thread for electric cars. There are a lot of start ups. I'm sure 99% will fail, but the ones that survive should be very good indeed.

Nobe

My personal favorite, a retro-futuristic 3-wheeler and now a small pickup as well.

Maple Majestic

After trying and failing to revive Polish automobile brand Syrena, Poliish-Canadian industrial designer Arkadiusz Kaminski is back with the Maple Majestic. As represented by this toy car.

XBus

This little tribute to the T2 VW Bus looks to be a success with actual vehicles being produced and shipped to dealers.

Canoo

Nice looking vans and pickups with a delivery van in the works.

Morris Commercial

Definitely among the most retro, this is an electric version of the classic Morris J2 van of the 1940s and '50s.

Microlino

More retro nostalgia. Still, I would definitely be up for one of these. I love the original Isetta.

Feel free to add your own.

Some good news for EV startups.

Canoo is going into production with a deal for 4500 electric vans for Walmart.

Microlino has entered production as well.

After an interminable hour long livestream, Volvo’s EV-only Polestar brand just revealed the Polestar 3. It’s an SUV, but then again, isn’t everything?

It looks like Microlino isn't the only company building an electric Isetta. Electricbrands of Germany, the same company that builds the XBus, is making the Evetta. They're actually related. Micro-Mobility builds the Microlino. A company called Artega bought the Italian branch of Micro-Mobility and decided to release it under their own name. Lawsuits ensued. Deals were struck. Micro-Mobility moved on with Microlino 2.0. Artega couldn't deliver on their own version. So ElectricBrands bought the rights to Artega's version and has renamed it Evetta. (EV + Isetta, get it?) It will come in three versions: Prima (the basic coupe model), OpenAir (convertible), and Cargo (mini cargo truck.) They're even showing a pizza delivery version of it.
