In My Opinion, as long as there are people who continue to enable Sponges like this who clearly take every advantage possible , every time they can in the Marketplace, we will continue to have to deal with them.
I've identified a nice list ( private of course), of those users who are this way. You will never see me help any of them in any way, even though I always have the Car/ Ticket/ Items that they are looking for.
There are plenty of Legit folks to help here that do keep their word, help, don't try to get over constantly.
Maybe if the bad apples were no longer given everything they want for free, they might just get tired and fade away........

I agree that in there lays the issue as well. amaway benift of the doubt sadly did not work out. But, you just never really know with new traders on what regards if any that they may have with keeping their word. I take minimal risks as possible and hope new traders are good folks (knocking on wood). I have not gotten burned yet as there are still plenty of honest traders in the forum still.
As you, a good persons in life is only as good as their actions. I personally dont care for traders that have too many stories via I forgot this or had to do that or changing sending dates as if...

IT is quite a balance to strike. Helping out folks as much as possible, while avoiding those who simply "work the system". I visit the Marketplace every single day, multiple times. I read through almost every thread each day. The facts and opinions that I gather from this are valuable info for me.
Some people here, I wish that there was some thing or things that I could do for them in repayment for all that they do for the community at large. There are many extremely generous and helpful people here. They far outnumber the few that are trying to take advantage, and that is great.
The Marketplace is a very vibrant, helpful, and interesting place to hang out. I really don't venture out much to the rest of the GTP Forums.
Regarding Trading, the subject of this Thread. I'll be updating my SWERV_GRIFFIN Collector Car Connection Thread likely this weekend. I have a great deal more cars that I'll be listing. Rare Cars, 0/0/0s, and so forth.........
