First: Holy crap the amount of detail put into this is mindblowing !

Second: This has been said like a thousand times , but can we take a minute and appreciate just how realistic the graphics of GT Sport are ? I mean look how identical the photos are:

It honestly took me some time to find the GT watermark in the bottom left, to realize which was the bonus shot and which was the ref pic. Both the graphics and the level of detail of the livery are insane.

I've a feeling my photos are too big but I can't find out if they are. If they turn out to be too big, how do i resize them? I only have a tablet, no PC.

If you use Flickr or the GTP media section, you should have no problems. I use Flickr and it has the option to provide a 640*360 share link.

As long as the size is correct (I’m also on my phone as of writing this) it should be valid @PrinsvOranje - but if we’re being technical, there’s no need for more than one reference image as you should have your bonus image in the same angle as the reference.

Sorry to be a pain guys but ive done as requested and added photos to media and now they are twice the size they were before plus its added a stupid preview panel at the bottom of my post. I dont want to go and have to make up a flickr account as its not something i would ever use or need beyond this. What am i meant to do to get it to 640? It was 800 now its about 1800.

EDIT; Ignore now, resolved and original post modified accordingly.

Optimum Motorsport Audi LMS GT3
I've become a bit of a big British GT fan over the past year or so and Optimum Motorsport have become my favourite team. So I decided to couple this with my love of the Audi LMS GT3 and recreate their 2016 car. I have to say a huge huge thanks to @Cytoria and @daan as without their help and decals it wouldn't have been possible at all (daan for those who don't know basically has created the best and most varied British GT decals in the game). I did try and match this to various spec's of the livery, the problem is that British GT cars seem to change and move decals about all over the place from race to race, so I went with a best catch-all and tried to get the best amalgamation (as different reference pictures for angles showed different sponsor placements).

I tried, for the first time to get these images exported via USB from the game so to try and capture the fact that the whole car, save for a few silver bits, is covered in a carbon fibre wrap as the real car had no black parts and instead used bare cf. But this didn't work and so it's not very easy to tell via the share function.

*sorry comparison photo's are not that similar, but I'm a trash photographer! :D

The Honda Castrol MUGEN NSX (JGTC) '00 is a Race car produced by Honda. It appears in every main Gran Turismo game to date since Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec, with the exception of Gran Turismo Sport.

"During the 2000 season of the Japan Grand Touring Car Championship (JGTC), the three big automakers Honda, Toyota and Nissan were engaged in a fierce battle for GT500 prominence. The Honda (Acura) NSX engineers made major changes to its race car that year, placing an idler gear between the output shaft and transmission. They also used thinner and more compact gears of Formula cars. As a result, the exhaust pipes that once ran under the engine were moved around the sides, allowing the powerplant to be lowered for improved center-of-gravity.

Five teams raced the revived NSX in 2000. Among them were the Castrol Mugen NSX and Takata Dome NSX, which assumed the role of advanced-development "work cars" for the NSX camp. The car with the overwhelming speed was the Takata Dome NSX, and it took two wins right away. Because the JGTC used a weight-handicap system to even out the competition, the Takata Dome NSX's handicaps were too much to overcome to take the championship. In its shadow emerged the Castrol Mugen NSX that progressed through the season with consistently good finishes. The driver were Ryo Michigami and Sebastian Philippe, with Philippe being replaced by Hidetoshi Mitsusada halfway through the season. The Castrol Mugen NSX handled the weight handicaps incurred from its 1st place finishes and went on to take the series championship."

I always loved the colour scheme of the Castrol Mugen Livery and thought it would be nice to made a replique for the Raybrig NSX Gr.2, which is also my favourite car in Group 2. Because of the shape of the body, i could not make a 1 to 1 copy, but i thing it is a nice replique and works excellent on the NSX.

Meanwhile, I'm still taking ideas, then dumping them, and realizing the level, particularly this time, is waaaaay too high :P

Ughh. Think I'm going to be taking this one to the wire... Only gotten as far as Alex Zanardi's ear... though I'm pleasantly surprised that it's only up to 109kb so far...

That’s why I never bothered trying! :D good work though, if you ever get it done, do share how many ‘layers’ you used to get that hood done.

Lovely livery. But! Did you miss something? ;)

Have a browse through tradingpaints, racedepartment or trackmaniacarpark. Usually some good stuff there when you get a creativity block. :D

You guys are out of control. There are some incredible entries here.

FINAL ENTRY

So here's mine. Based on a car I watched growing up. A simple, but to me, timeless HR31 Skyline livery applied to my all time favourite GTR. There were a few different versions of this base livery back in 89/90 so I decided to combine the elements that worked best for the current GTR.
