FINAL ENTRY

Kyan Measurements Schnieder Racing GT-R Gr.4

The chrome doesn't show up real well in the entry pictures but it shows up better in the bonus picture and in game. And just to be on the safe side I forwent the use of the manufacture decal and just traced it instead. They both ate up more than a fifth of my decal budget but you can never be too safe, kids.

Nice job.

You can try to use the White Sands scapes instead of Shiretoko but if you want to really show the chrome I suggest you use another bonus picture in the daylight.

I apologise to @Jordan for making his logo dot by a lot of dots, and for not using the right font, but following the rules we have for this comp, I think it came out alright.

You're right it did come out a lot better. 👍 I've updated my entry post. I don't know if that counts as my 1 edit but I don't think I'll need to make anymore changes if it doesn't.

We discussed that with @YukinoSuzuka too earlier today. To me the "One edit only" is to prevent people to change their livery to follow trends (or hope to get more "likes"). A slight update on the same livery, like correcting a non-mirrored decal or adding details doesn't count as an edit to me, nor does posting new/upgraded pictures.

Absolutely. The one edit should stand for drastic changes such as a full car, colour, sponsor etc. Not just correcting something so small and simple

what's the best way to host the photos? I see a mix of high and not so very good quality images. Is gtplanet media the best place? I will be entering for my first time. took me a long time to decide on this thing!

Here or Flickr are the 2 places you can put your pictures. There is a guide linked to from the first post that shows you how.

Viper GT4 Felipe Pantone Art Car

I am a big fan of street artist Felipe Pantone, And i thought with shapes in game this would be a good idea. But it turned into a clusterfurb rather than a vibrant piece of street art on a car. 3/10 would not recommend.

Gtplanet is the better host for quality it seems

Follow the guide in the first post for the GT Planet media section.

BUT be sure to upload the full size picture then use the « Gallery » or « Camera » option which will create a good quality thumbnail.

If you reduce your pictures to 640px before uploading them, they will not look good.

@Teal , can you try this too? You usually add pictures with the « Upload a File » button, but this doesn’t work with the way the poll is created, so I need to save and host your pictures. If you use the GTPlanet media it would be helpful, thanks !

I get how to do it. I just wanted to make sure I post the better quality image!

FINAL ENTRY

Mistral Motorsport Honda NSX Gr.3

After quite some rummaging around for the right car and sponsors I picked the NSX, I love the beastly look of the car but I've never done a livery for it before and I'm pretty happy with the result. I wanted to create a loud and aggressive GT livery but one which was clean with solid lines to compliment the natural shape of the car. I found the car a little tricky in some areas for decals but worth the perseverance. Hope you enjoy!

BMW VGT Jugà Coursa ZERO / Gran Tourism Company England

I didn't know what car to start with so I decided to go with BMW which I love since my dad had a 325d and a 330d 20 years ago.

Then the VGT was in balance with the M4 Gr.4 and I decided to choose the VGT which looks more like the dream car you could have just for your own (we won't lie to each other, drivers love BMW so much more than passengers do! :D )!

After that I have planned to do my three favorite colors theme, red, black and white but I found the green "[ZERO]" sponsor and changed my plans as you can see.

Gran Tourism logo was cool, BP became the most accurate petrol company thanks to it's logo's color and this is the result, which I'm quite satisfied with. :)

And this is the link to the livery
