And neither does the Mini unfortunately :(
Yep, only the "Cox" (for Coccinelle, as we usually call it in French) allows it.

That's part of the reason why I'm hesitating for my final entry...
I already shared the Mini livery I've done but I'm not sure of the color I chose, and now that I've tried the same thing on the VW I don't know which one I should present to you! :banghead:

Link 1 or Link 2 to a good logo Camel Logo
No, I've seen these decals and was going with them until I found the ones from another guy.
I reposted some of them but you can also find them without the white contouring in his gallery.

I said "no" but it's just I think the other guy did a better thing, letters only, logo only, all together, with or without the white... I think it's a better choice. ;)

Final edit : and I think this guy deserves more followers than he has when I see the quality of his decals!

Ayrton Senna's 1st Formula One car

I was firstly about to do exactly the same thing!
But then I kept on searching and I found the Lotus livery!! He won his first Monaco GP with it so I thought it was a good idea.

FINAL ENTRY

Ayrton Senna's 1st Formula One car

This is my Mini version of Ayrton Senna's 1st F1 car, the Toleman TG138. I tried a similar design on the Fiat but it didn't work as well, plus I love the Mini as a car and as Toleman are British it seems fitting to use the little motoring icon as homage to the legendary Senna. I was tempted to one of the many more obvious or recent F1 liveries but in the end, opted for something a bit rarer.

As an interesting aside there is a rather illusive logo on the original car and I'd be interested to know if anyone knows what it is or where to find it; its the red 'tear drop' logo with +1 in it, I know it was a relatively common sight in Formula cars in the 80's and was the logo for an Italian fuel and lubricants additive manufacturer but having scoured the web I could not find an image to make into a decal?- Mastimonk solved this already!

Anyway, thanks for looking, hope you enjoy

Try the attached file... I've drawn it up from die-casts of the Toleman... use it, don't use it, whatever works...👍

I know it's not the same angle for the bonus shot so I'll post a new one as soon as possible but I'll be very busy at work so I give what I can give right now.
I'll edit this as soon as possible to match the rules. (and I'll probably change a little bit the color...

So as I said I couldn't do something else than an Ayrton Senna livery for my first F1 related LEC.
He's probably the only one person I'm (I was, I've been, I'll ever be) found of, and Formula 1 died the same day he did...

I firstly wanted to do his famous McLaren red and white livery but finally wanted to go "further".
The Toleman's livery idea came to honor his first F1 team but as a neighbor and because I had the chance to see (to be there as a spectator or a worker) several times this GP last years I had to do something related to the Monaco GP.

He did a fantastic first race with Toleman but won his 4th Monaco GP in 1987 with the Lotus Honda 99T, that's why I finally decided to go with this one.

And as Lotus is English, I did it on the Mini.

Alfa Romeo racing testing Valentine’s Day livery. Not my greatest work but I’m short on time!
It's amazing! Very very beautiful!

Have you found the pattern or did you make it?
I'm really interested in having it.

I made the pattern which was a lot harder than it may seem! Trying to get he round edges perfectly round and not square on the inside of the triangle was so difficult!

The cloverleaf was easy but again, the heart was quite difficult

I’ll share it soon. It’s only 3 triangles. 2 cloverleaf pointing upwards and the heart pointing downwards betweeen them

Tribute to Mika Häkkinen

In 1998, the Finn finished first at the last race at Suzuka sending Michael Schumacher in his Ferrari to P2 in the championship. Mika Häkkinen became World Champion for the first time and gained the first title for a Mercedes engine in Formula 1 since 1955. Due to ban on tobacco advertising in some countries the McLaren MP4/13 used to appear also with the decals “Mika”, "David", “East” and a neutral icon instead of “West” which is a cigarette brand of Reemtsma, Germany.
It was a real challenge to adapt this epic F1 livery to a vehicle like the Volkswagen 1200. Had fun galore and learned a lot by doing. Thanks to @Higny for the theme. Hope you all like my work.

Fiat 500 F Earthdreams

The livery adopted is that of the Honda RA108 of the 2008 F1 championship, the last of the Japanese manufacturer before his return in the Turbo-Hybrid era.
A very current livery even nowadays, given the many protests for a better world we are witnessing these days.

This is actually a replica of an INDY car instead of an F1, but the concept is still the same, so I hope this design flies.
I chose this specific car because MINIAC! And I chose Danica's Go Daddy car.....Because I couldn't find a Hooters livery.

I wanted to do a "John Cooper Special" as a take on "John Player Special" but I wasn't able to produce anything I liked. Plus Tumor Torpedoes are nasty. I couldn't get a good pic of the bonnet, and if we could add a second pic of the livery I would. But please download the livery and look at it yourself.

Will be updated with reference shot. I knew I forgot something, while uploading the pics, I knew what it was.. :D

For me, Jenson Button was one of the nicest drivers to watch. It was like dancing. He had a very smooth style of driving and rather people would say Button became WDC because of the Brawn, you still have to drive that car and comparing to the old video with Hammond testing a F1 Renault, it's still an extra-ordinary job he won that championship.

And another link with the past and a video. Jenson Button got a drive in his father's rallycross VW Beetle. So it was an easy choise to make the Brawn livery on a Beetle instead of a Mini or Fiat 500 ! And so it became the 4B ; Buttons Baby Brawn Beetle !

I honestly think it's the first time I see this livery! :boggled:
current as in, save the planet and all that nonsense.

It is however a very very popular livery in terms of worst liveries ever haha
