FINAL ENTRY

Ugo Sivocci (August 29, 1885 - September 8, 1923) was an Italian race car driver, also a friend of Enzo Ferrari. Thus he was hired by Alfa Romeo in 1920 (almost 100 years ago) to drive an Alfa racer as a works teammate of Enzo Ferrari and Antonio Ascari. The team was called “Alfa Corse”.

In 1923 Sivocci was killed while testing Merosi's new P1 at Monza. On the same day of the accident, a press release of the engineer Nicola Romeo announced the withdrawal of other Alfa Romeo cars competing. Sivocci's car was painted with the green cloverleaf (shamrock) on a white background that was to become Alfa's good luck token.

His car was carrying number 17, which was never again assigned to Italian racing cars.

My livery is to pay homage to Udo Sivocci – one of those legendary pioneers of the Golden Age of Motorsports. The car is showing the Italian National Flag on the bonnet and the Alfa Romeo heraldic logo on the roof. At the side you see the Green Shamrock and the usual suspects as Italian sponsor decals. I had fun creating this and I hope you like it.

FINAL ENTRY

The Calsonic Nissan Race Car is back!

Calsonic Kansei Nissan Nismo Racing GTR

If you get a chance, take a preview look in game, thanks for looking

There are many iconic liveries that we all hold dear. The Pennzoil GTRs, the Canon F1 cars, the many Marlboro icons to name but a few. A favourite of mine was always the Calsonic Nissan, it adorned many cars over the years and was always pretty simple in design but no less eye-catching. I built the Calsonic Skyline models made by Tamiya as a child, so for this round decided to see if I could create a modern Calsonic GTR. I played with many colour schemes, designs and ideas and settled on this, it has a little of the old blue, a little of the new blue now used by Calsonic Kansei Inc., a sprinkle of red (less common on older designs but present on a few choice beauties) and finally white which helped flip the old design of predominant blue.

So here you have it, my vision of a racing classic reimagined for the modern day.

Hope you enjoy!

*NOTE* Just spotted an error on the design which I'll fix tomorrow

Seen that i've been sitting on this 488 GTE bodykit for quite some time i decided to actually use it for once. However Ferrari doesn't exactly have a factory GTE team so I decided to go for arguably the most recognisable team that is partnered with Ferrari. So here is my take on an AF Corse livery for the 488 GTE.

FINAL ENTRY
Hyundai N-LM 2025

My debut entry, based on the Gr.1 version of the N 2025 VGT.

FINAL ENTRY
Hyundai N-LM 2025

My debut entry, based on the Gr.1 version of the N 2025 VGT.

Livery link
"For the 2024-2025 World Endurance Championship, the ACO introduces a new class of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. These vehicles are pure prototypes offering similar performance levels as the concurrently-run 'Hypercar' class, but with greater environmental credentials. The 'LMP1' name is resurrected once again for this new breed of prototypes, marking their distinction from the production-based ‘Hypercars’. The 2024-2025 technical regulations mandate that all LMP1s share the same safety cells and drivetrain specifications. However, they are subjected to less stringent regulations in other areas, allowing for a greater variety of designs and engineering solutions between manufacturers.

"Among the manufacturers competing in this class is Hyundai, who have developed a striking-looking machine based on their N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo concept. Called 'N-LM 2025', it features a drivetrain and design influenced by its virtual predecessor, and has already caused a sensation on and off the track. Despite being newcomers to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the three factory-entered 'N-LM 2025s' have already been tipped as favourites for overall honours..."

Using the Gr.1 N 2025 as a base, my idea was to adapt the general colour scheme of Hyundai’s racing liveries into something which could work on an LMP-style car. Rather than directly copy the style of the company's WRC and TCR machines, I decided to give the N 2025 its own visual identity, eventually creating a clean and dynamic livery emphasising the vehicle’s looks. Certain decal placements – particularly on the inner grille surrounds, shark fin and rear wheel arches – also pay homage to the original and Gr.1 versions, albeit with slight differences.

Not expecting too much out of my first-ever Livery Editor competition entry, but hopefully it brings the N 2025 up-to-date with the rest of Hyundai’s current motorsport portfolio.

EDIT: Updated with minor fixes - see previous post for link to the latest version.

Some very controversial designs I must admit. Please try and remember that you have to design a new livery and try take it away from existing/previous designs.

Regardless, the quality is great

I was thinking the same yesterday, how does mine fit the brief?

I'll check if i still has this one shared as I edited it for more personalisation. If not, I'll revert it back and sort that out.

Edit: @CorvairGuy69 its now shared
I downloaded it last night. It's even more beautiful when you can spin the car around and check it out. You have killed it with creating a BMW livery. I tried my hand at it and ultimately decided on my Vette although I have since created a Viper that I like as well

Welcome to the forums and the competitions. This is a very well made livery. However, i'm wondering why it's here? This is near enough a replica of an existing car. It's too close to the real deal to be classed as inspired by a past design. Also it doesn't feature the Ferrari name or model as the dominate sponsor - the whole idea of this cometition. And finally the number boards - in particular the bonnet - are not Sport Mode compatible. Not wanting to see anyone out of an entry but surely better to point it all out before the polls are created and the design is excluded!

I was struggling to come up with something, as you can probably tell by this lack luster entry, but wanted to get one in. Sport mode number plate will cover the GM logo on the door.
