I was struggling to come up with something, as you can probably tell by this lack luster entry, but wanted to get one in. Sport mode number plate will cover the GM logo on the door.

You managed to make a Chevy look classy, I'd be proud of that accomplishment. I always take the low road and wrap the Vette in liveries like Walmart.

This is an awesome livery mate but aside from very very minor differences, I would class this a AFCorse replica and not a new Ferrari livery concept sorry. As such I dont think it fits the brief sorry mate.
Fair enough, i figured as i was seeing multiple people submitting liveries that also lacked the actual manu being the main sponsor or the Sport mode numberboards it would be fine (and i chose AF Corse as its basically the closest thing ferrari has to a factory GTE/GT3 team). Also i would argue against it being a replica and instead being a new livery that still stays true to the teams unique design language (i do fully agree to it being heavely inspired by their previous liveries). Do i need to manually retract it (and if so, how?) Or can you guys retract it for me? I appreciate the heads up tho.

When my one didn't fit the brief a couple of competitions ago I just hid the whole post in a spoiler. It meant people could still see it if they wanted, but it didn't effect the actual comp and made it easier for the admin to pull out the entries for the poll.

ps. If you share the actual link of the car on the gran turismo site then I will give it a like as it is very good :)

Rules are saying: "You may change your entry once. Do it clearly; edit out your previous entry, and either post the new one in a new reply, or in place of the original."
You can edit your own entries and picts anytime and place new ones instead. Do not hesitate, all beginnings are difficult. Some of us are more than a year ahead.

Have to say, I'm struggling with this too.
I had a concept in my head for an updated/tweaked version of a factory team livery. Got it all done and laid out... was happy with it... then compared it to the actual livery and it was so similar it could have just been an badly done replica :banghead:

Is tricky I’ll admit. Each manufacturer has a set style and you don’t want to go away from that as it doesn’t stay true to what you know about them but the job at hand is really to take them in a new direction!

What’s the next best thing that they have to show Off?

I think a few of the current entries need to think about this. I can definitely see heavy influence/close replicas. Which would be annoying if I were to be beaten by one when I’ve done what I can to creat something completely new

It's impossible to police, but I do think some of the entries are far too similar to the actual factory team liveries to be a fair entry.

100% agree. Will enter mine tomorrow in the hope it doesn't fall in that category. It's currently available to download from my garage if anyone wants to see and offer an opinion!

Same username? You have a couple cars I’d like!

FINAL ENTRY

This is my design for what I would hope a works Mugen entry into the Super GT300 categorie of the Japanese Super GT series might look like. I've used the traditional Mugen colours with a metallic element to enhance the design from the regular Mugen badging. Japanese Super GT cars traditionally feature a lot of tertiary sponsors that can often lead to a cluttered appearance. Although it's somewhat of a Super GT trademark, I've decided to cut down on the amount of sponsors focusing on the main ones that existing Mugen cars use to make a cleaner look.

Hey I have updated my entry after the remark of @D-Max so hope this is valid for the competition!! Would like to compete in this one. Don't have to time to look again because I'm enjoying my summer holiday!!

ps. nice to see some new competitors with brilliant liveries.

After 11 months away from the LEC, and pretty much GT as a whole, I finally get to put an entry in :D

I really wanted to resist the urge to use red on this car as so many LMPs of the last few years have used it. I also dodged the Renown/Charge colours, as I knew it would’ve been done (probably very well) before. Instead going with Mazda’s heritage blue and white, modernised to blue, black & (hard to capture with the camera) chrome.

My focus was highlighting the car’s lines and making the Mazda brand as noticeable as possible. This proved incredibly difficult on the extremely curvaceous bodywork.

The stripes are filled with hidden Mazda logos. It’s an asymmetrical design; with colours flipping halfway through the car and stripes ducking under the cockpit. It utilises chrome & gradients, two of my favourite (and most frustrating :banghead:) techniques. It’s Sport mode compatible and I included the “P1” & “HY” logos for the WEC. I wanted it to feel like a real Le Mans car. There’s a heap of detail in this one I just couldn’t capture in one bonus pic.

In the end I’m just very glad I can enter it. I got 95% done, then checked the rules again and panicked thinking this was a group X car

Damn, that must have taken an eternity to make!

This won't take long. A bit back I god tired of looking at the Gr.4 Mustang livery. Basic can be fun, but it can also be boring, so I tried my hand at it.

That said, I'll probably make this my last LEC entry. Not only do I not have time or interest in the game at the moment, my best is still toilet paper for the rest of the competition. Maybe eventually my brain will fall out and things will finally improve, but I doubt it.

So many great liveries here!
Unfortunately I think I won't be able to do something for this one.

I'm gonna check my library to see if I already did something that could fit the rules...

FINAL ENTRY

Mitsubishi TimeCrusher Six
A funny Japanese guy from Mitsubishi, we don't know his name yet, had an idea. The rumour is telling us they want to compete in a European Time Attack championship. And they don't want to compete with one car, or two. No, they are likely to ship 5 to 8 cars to Europe and pull simracers out of their playseats and compete in official time attack challenges. The newborn drivers will also compete against each other, the second part of the rumour say Mitsubishi will make the selection for a new GT endurance team.

So we received the first pictures by email from our own source, with the title "TimeCrusher Six", it's possibly one of the many pictures that will follow (hopefully soon), but this is the first Lancer Evo Gr.3 with the name TimeCrusher Six. That could mean we will see at least 5 more of these Lancers or other cars. We don't know yet.

Hopefully as rad as this livery, with red chrome shatters of glass and little black particles, it's attractive to the eye. And according to the back window, their plans on European soil are clear to us.
(I've also uploaded two pictures in my media gallery of the car with a green/red chameleon paint, because it was hard to capture the chrome paint, but in some angles it looks more racy then the color changing paint).

Download

Edit ; With taking the photo's I had great details on my tv, now on pc screen the photo's look dark and lost a lot of detail.. :( Will try and upload better pics tomorrow morning.
