FINAL ENTRY

I started on this one a while ago, before the 2018 world cup started. Never finished it, until this competition gave me a reason to do it. Based on the away shirts of the Belgium football team, I used the same font as Addidas used on the shirts of all teams for the number and Hazard's name under the rear window. Some slightly darker stripes on the yellow part of the car, just like the shirts. Changed the decal texture to semi-gloss, to get a nice effect with the glossy base paint.

About the sponsors : All were partners of the team during te world cup, Jupiler (our most popular beer) was kind of the main sponsor. They even changed their name to "Belgium" for a month or two to get everyone hyped. I choose to stay with "Jupiler" as every non-Belgium guy would think I put it on the car to make sure everyone knows its from Belgium :D
I choose the BMW M6, as BMW was one of the partners too.

Hope you all enjoy!

I've updated the images for my entry. I didn't like how low-quality the image of the stadium was on the bonnet.
I originally simplified the SVG so much it was very abstract looking.

I changed this original photo;

Unless a miracle, I won’t be able to enter this round. The first time I’ll miss since the LEC #09.:ouch:

I spent too much time on the Nurburgring liveries this week-end and work and life obligations have caught me during these last days.

Great theme anyway, and we clearly feel the passion in most of the entries!

FINAL ENTRY

Hammer Time

I've done quite a few of my fav cars in claret & blue since I started the game which were all very good fun to do, but I felt were not quite up to date enough for this LEC so I decided that this was the perfect opportunity to start a new livery that reflects the very different design aspect we see in the new home kit for the upcoming season.
If only they would put the bubbles on the kit too.
I'm quite pleased with this very simple result. :D

FINAL ENTRY

Will update the post correctly tomorrow in 10 hours. Hope I can still compete! After I changed the settins to to correct size (@Cytoria)

So thanx that I could still update my post. Uploaded everything first via phone, that did go to well.

The livery I went for the national Dutch Woman Field hockey team. So yes @KK78 I went for orange!! On the side, you see Sophie Polkamp a former Dutch athlete and on the bonnet is Lidewij Welten. I now understand how difficult it is the make a .svg of a picture and make it still look oké. The .svg of Sophie is a combination of 12 decals due to the size limit of 15kb. (yes, I know there are better among us and could do it in less, but I only had 2 hours to create the whole livery and upload the pictures). I used the suit as an inspiration. On the roof is the Dutch Olympic Logo with the familiar Dutch Tulip. The three lines are a link to Adidas which is one of the main sponsors of the team.

Hope you like this rushed livery as much as I do.

Gran Turismo Website is down on the computer so can share the second picture now :irked:. Hope the 'extra' pictures and movie will make up for that. That app still works but the quality of the second pic is less......

FINAL ENTRY

Before my first entering in the LEC, I mostly create football based liveries, so I really want to enter in this round. I choosed to redo my first livery, based to the Juventus Turin football club.

I choose a Ferrari, because Ferrari was owned by Fiat, and Fiat owners, Agnelli family, are also Juventus Turin owners.
The body is black and white like the home kit, and the adidas 3 stripes follow the bodyshape. The number 37, represents the number of win in the italian league, a record in Italy and so the 3 stars. 1 star for 10 leagues won.
All the sponsors are Ferrari or Juventus FC sponsors and the bonnet design is the oficial 2019-2020 kit for home matches.

Oh this LEC is supposed to be closed?
Can I just have tonight to give something please?
I won't have time to do what I wanted to but at least I can put a livery already done.

I'll post as soon as possible.

Unfortunately I didn't have time to make a new livery specifically for this LEC, so I decided to present you my Fiat 500 OGC Nice.

OGC Nice is a football club ("soccer" for some of you) established in 1904 in the most beautiful city in the world.

The city I was born, and were my new incoming best friend took me to the stadium at the age of 15, where he was going with his grandpa since he was maybe 4 or 5.

That day I fell in love with... the fans!
I don't remember how we were playing but I still can tell you it ended 1-1 against FC Rouen. We were in Division 2 and were promoted in D1 at the end of the season.

And since that day, every two weeks we were going to the "Pop" (for Populaire) to join these people singing and partying all together.
The skull with the knife is the emblem of former "Brigade Sud Nice" since it's foundation in 1985, then renamed "Ultras Populaire Sud" but it's another story! :D

So as you can see I'm a big fan of OGC Nice, a team you needed to be from the city to love the club! :D
We have won 4 times the championship in the 50's and were a big contender in the last 70's and 80's but some regular problems leaded us to the bottom of the Division 2 in the end of the 90's...

I was there in '97 in Paris with my friend when we won our last title : la Coupe de France.
This title was won the same year we came back to the D2, achieving probably the worst regular season of our history! :banghead:

Now we're back since 2002, and we've had some good results the last few years, almost leading us to the Champions League, eliminated by SC Napoli after being the last team since this year to eliminate Ajax Amsterdam from an European competition.

This is my fan story, sorry for my English, I hope you'll like it, and the car I made. :)

Corvette C7-R with full IMSA package, and using the Watkins Glen traditionnal patriotic liveries. I'm out of the boundaries here, but this is what I could make. Based on the 2018 USA soccer shirts (home and away).

Ultimately, @Noisy had to allow me and @Sian to enter, but in respect with others contestants, if someone reject it due to the deadline, I will delete it.

This reminds me one particular thing about football. Usually what increases our feelings with our teams, aren't only the titles and honours that we like to brag about, but also the bad seasons, the almost relegations (and proper relegations and promotions XD), the "not lost" games, remembering bad players etc. Nice livery btw!

I'm fine, beautiful livery!!
