I’ve struggled a lot with this round. Both with the car itself and with the time I could put on it.

I decided early to go with BP sponsorship but I’ve lost the count of how many ways I went for the livery, the shapes, the main colours...

I eventually went for a much simplier approach, hopefully it’s fine for you even if it’s late... :banghead:

Edit : changed the bonus picture with the 02 numberboard / add the link :

@Nuschel01 all those liveries are Oké. But its a matter of interpretation. The have to be sport mode friendly. This means that if the numberboard (2) by GTS is place on the car it should ruin the lines.

If you look at my livery the numberboard is placed in game in a race will it cover up my numberboard without ruining the complete livery. This is as far as I understood the rule. Hope this clarifies a bit.

@Slender_Man correct me if I’m wrong.

As long as the number panel is in the same location as the standard Numberboard it’s fine.

I'm sure it's just a little confusion between two open comps, but why seek @Slender_Man's advice on the rules when this is @D-Max's theme!?

Also, I thought this was pretty clear...
...As for the sport mode compatibility, whether or not the gr.b is ever going to show on a daily or not, I want the bonus ‘still’ shot to have the number board. That’s that. I set the rules, that’s how it is. I’m sorry some may not like the way it is, but that’s just how I’ve set it out. There’s nothing wrong with adjusting your entry so that the main images don’t have the sport mode board. But I just wanted the cars to play by a certain rule.

@CorvairGuy69 @Akwaaba @KK78 @AngryKowski @Teal @LaSupra @Slender_Man @PrinsvOranje @Cytoria

I think all your bonus shots lack the sport-mode numberboard. Don‘t know if I misses something but I thought that‘d be mandatory?

I will take another shot for my car, but I won’t disqualify an entry based on this. Besides, I didn’t forgot to add this to the main post when I edited it.

To me, the main purpose of the bonus shot with the 02 numberplate was to check if the car is Sport Mode friendly. Since we all use the same car, it’s pretty easy to spot it even without the numberplate.

But if you struggle to choose between some entries in the poll, you can still use that particular aspect to add « bonus » points.

@Nuschel01 @Thorin Cain Thanks for the heads up. I didn't realise that we had to have one shot with the GTS number plates, I just thought we had to show somehow that it was sport mode compatible. That's why I ended up sharing two liveries, one with the GTS plates applied.

I'm not sure how far @Cytoria is in to producing the poll and I know now that it's not necessary, but is it okay for me to change the standing shot to a GTS number plate shot or should I leave it?

I don't know guys, it's pretty clear

UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS :
- Please keep the wheel choice realistic to rallying standards.
- The livery has to be Sport Mode compatible.
- Numberplate 02 is recommended, but not compulsory.

Hope you all have a great weekend at SPA!

I’ve already used my one edit. Would I be able to make a 3rd edit? I’d hate to lose a potential vote because I didn’t use what looked like an optional number plate. Especially when I put up something I feel might podium.

I would think it'd be cool, it's only a number sticker being placed in one picture, it's not as if you are changing the design of the livery or making a different entry 👍.

Edit : just a few words to @D-Max :
To be honest I don't understand why do you absolutely want us to put the #2 GT plate number.
To me, "Sport mode compatible" means the design won't be ruined by these plates, and I do think it is a good idea, a good rule for the comp, but as long as we all use the same car, it's easy to see if the livery is compatible or not.
So we agreed on this point. :D

I did noticed some following entries didn't "respect" this but I didn't say anything because yes, we all know that they were Sport Mode compatibles! ;)

Edit : I actually put that number plate in my still shot to respect @D-Max demand but it bored me to "create" and save a new livery just for one shot, so please, next time we have to make SMC liveries on ONE mandatory car, don't ask for a specific GT number plate guys!

@Nuschel01 to make things clear, I think you are wrong mentioning me. All my pictures include a numberplate. Or am I missing something
this is pretty much why I was feeling like dropping out last few LEC's. There are users here who aren't reading the rules and who are gatekeeping and or nitpicking when it's not needed. Thinking it's their position to enforce rules the author of the LEC didn't even lay down. This is supposed to be fun. Just leave the enforcement of the rules of the comp up to the mods and the user who set the comp. Enough already.

you definitely missed something. go back and read the first post.

Just gonna quote D-Max again...

Also @Cytoria mentioned earlier he simply forgot to change the OP...

I‘m not here to spoil anyone‘s fun but I‘m just pointing out the actual rules here :)

Also @Cytoria mentioned earlier he simply forgot to change the OP...
Actually I understood exactly the opposite! :D

He said he did not forget (despite what @D-Max asked for).

Anyway, it's not that important... but once again, let's make it easier for the next time we're in the same situation : sport mode compatible doesn't mean mandatory GT number plate.

- - END OF THIS ROUND - -

I feel sorry for some of the debate during this round, because the quality of the 25 entries is stunning. I think the Mustang was quite tricky to work with, yet we've seen amazing designs, from complex decals to more simplier lines, and both look good. Another hard choice for the poll!

By the way... the poll is up ;)

Also @Cytoria mentioned earlier he simply forgot to change the OP...

Actually at first I wrote "I didn't change the rules in the OP", but then I thought it seemed volontary, so I corrected it with "forgot to".

Shoot won’t be in time to correct my picture :eek:. Hope it doesn’t cost me to many votes......
I’ll have them updated in about 5-10 minutes.

Let me know, I can still correct the pictures in the poll when it's launched (but not add a new entry).
