FINAL ENTRY
Le Mans 2016, "40 years Anniversary Frank Stella Art Car"

So.. no VGT rule.. Boooooooooooo... anyway. Back in 2016 when the M6 GT car launched was 40 years after the Stella Art Car that raced at Le Mans in 1976.

I'd made the Art Car replica on the M6 before as a request, made it relevant to Le Mans 2016 for anniversary purposes.

I was going to post the RSR in it's original Shell Dunlop livery, but I thought I'd update it to Michelin as Dunlop wouldn't make sense for a current Le Mans car, and used some modern Porsche logos too.

Could the car list be expanded to include the ZL1 Camaro? It would fit a NASCAR themed livery much better than the Corvette.

20 years ago in the JGTC, Nissan Nismo was campaigning the very successful R34 Skyline GTR. The Team ARTA Zexel placed 6th overall in the 1999 JGTC and gained a large fan base.
Previously the '99 ARTA Zexel R34 only appeared in Gran Turismo 2. Twenty years later it's now back for GT Sport in a slightly revised colour scheme. The pure white has been exchanged for a pearl white giving a subtle silver hue in certain lights and helping to accent the familiar Autobacs orange.
This heritage livery is also fully Sport Mode compatible.

Hi,

after I got some positive feedback (special thanks to Nuschel01), I was thinking about to participate in the contest with my STW replica M4. As this is my first attempt to do so, sorry for asking if this is fine?
Original car was the E36 of BMW Team Isert in the 1997 STW Cup (sucessor of the old DTM):

Read the first post, you'll find out how to post your entry with the good pictures. ;)

And welcome to the game!

This BMW M4 GT4 should be a modern version of the STW1997 BMW 320i, driven by Prinz "Poldi" Luitpold von Bayern.

STW (Super Touren Wagen) was established as successor of the old DTM from 1994 till 1999.

This car run the whole season, except of one race in Belgium / Zolder and achieved as best result an 10th place at the Sachsenring.

"Poldi" was famous to be part of the legendary "Trio infernale", including Hans-Joachim "Strietzel" Stuck and Dieter Quester.

Prinz Luitpold von Bayern today is an brand ambassador for BMW and CEO of an bavarian brewery.

BMW decided it would be a great idea to give that man another shot in an actual GT race car, and this is what they rolled out for him.

Livery is Sport Mode compatible.

Unfortunately is the colour of the car very dark in this picture. Original colours are brighter.

@AngryKowski Hey I saw your livery and was working on a livery of mine. So not sure if I will get it done in time. But when I was working on it I saw an old Williams with Camel sponsoring and just thought about your car. They just changed a bit in the logo. So I had al the things ready to easily edit it to Peugeot. So here it is.... Hope you like it.

@Akwaaba was also working on a Williams version but unfortunately the GR X version instead of the group 3 :banghead::banghead::banghead: of the Renault. Yours looks nice!

Not much time at the moment so this is an update of a back catalogue item, my Joest Porsche. Recommended settings look slightly over exposed on my monitor but they are what was stipulated.
Nice to see this one 👍 I’ve done this one myself on the 911 (but as a IMSA version) and on the 919 too

Yeah, not very original I guess. I've about 20 (Touring Cars, Sports cars etc), I could enter but that's the car I was using.

I'm busy with a few cars, not decided yet wich one I would use for this contest. This contest gave me inspiration to do some modern throwbacks, but as many times before, I make a couple of cars (liveries on the same car) and then make the impossible desision which car I would use.. Hopefully ready at the end of this week/saturday evening.
