They have an app you can download that does this yes. While it greatly reduces the chance of it happening, it is still a possibility.*thinks twice*
Doesn't CFW spoof PSN so that you can connect without being detected? I've not used it before...
My advice to you is if you plan to get CFW or HFW for the PS3, get everything you want from PSN that is for the PS3 before you install CFW or HFW.
Pretty much what I have read as well. From what I gather, it seems the more times you get on, the more likely it will happen.While I haven't had mine on PSN other then to briefly verify my system for PSN games since I did things backwards. I can tell you based on my reading the conscientious is that a ban isnt a matter of "if" but "when" it happens to you if you connect to PSN.
