R.I.P

Car trading was the only thing preventing the poor payout from affecting the game. Was nice knowing you all great traders and friends.
Peace.

I just traded a GT-R Academy to myself, so it the Academy appears fine.

This is good. Its one of the cars I was suppose to trade but the other one was a Toyota GT-one. I guess I am going to have to organize something else.

Sorry I just couldn't figure out what you meant.

Think he means he types slow so give him some time to type out the list of cars that aren't valued over 1 million Cr but are not tradable still.

I think he was just being cheeky :mischievous:

It's ok, I can take it as well as I give it.

For all those who have tried trading with the FTO's and RX-7's keep in mind the new one trade limit on all consoles now, not just accounts. So if you already traded after the update in any account, you wouldn't have been able to send anyways.
That being said, can we re-verify that these cars are in fact, untradeable??

Yes, the RX7 LM is still a no go

There is a very easy way to tell if a car is tradable, even if you have exceeded the 1 car per console per day limit.

Highlight the car, give to friend, if it says "You cannot send any more, as you have reached your daily limit". It is tradeable.

If it says, "This car cannot be give to a friend", it is NOT tradeable.

1000 tickets are tradeable.

It seems like the "one trade per console" is the real killer here 👎

Sticky-ing this topic as it is of use to all traders and may prevent some "bad trades" from inadvertently occurring.

Personally, I don't believe the market is dead... there are still "street cars" that people find desirable and will want to trade... though some of them will be beyond this limit (Veyron, for one... though why you would ever have to trade for a car that comes as 0.0 standard in the UCD is beyond me...).

Has anyone tested out JGTC GT500 class cars?
They are priced below 750,000, and their Super GT counterparts are priced 950,000 in dealerships, so theoretically they might go through.

I've sent a 950k Super GT(Nissan YellowHat YMS TOMICA GT-R (SUPER GT) '08)
from one account to another.

Nissan GT-R Concept LM Race Car is over the 1.07 limit

I have a question if you would be so kind as to look into it...

Does the Rigidity refresh and Engine rebuild affect the overall value of the car? I'm at work, could you perhaps work it out?

I don't think so because the 950k car I sent had the chassis reinforcement & racing soft tyres on it when sent. Those two mods(56K) would have pushed it over the 1 mil limit.

Wow,thats atleast SOME good news!

Thanks,man!

My first attempt to test the limit was the GT-R Concept LM Race Car & it was a fail. Looks like the limit is between 950K & something below 990K.

yes, right ...

i heard it depends on the car. the value on mygranturismo is based on a used car with miles,
so a new one with 0 miles is worth more :grumpy:

It's good to see some race cars are allowed. Strange that the FTO is not, even though it's under a mil.

I guess we'll have to see which cars got which cars made the cut and which one's didn't. This is so dumb, even their own draconian rules are inconsistent.

Good point, I hadn't thought about that. This just got even more complicated

It's a rough guess, but there might be unlabelled prices for those UCD/tickets picked ups. In UCD they are used so the prices displayed get reduced. This is why I suggested trying some JGTC (NOT Super GT)GT500 class, e.g. Pennzoil Nismo GT-R.

Try sending the NSX-R Road Car & Pajero Evo Raid as well.

right, so all we can do is to test the limits ...

but its still boring, a used fto touring with 250k miles can be sent without
trouble, but a new one cannot, crap ...

Love a patch that takes away cool features. Reminds me of another update that did that???? Cant quite put my finger on it though.

I sent a car just after reset and before the update. It was a Ford GT '02 which is very close to the 1,000,000 limit.I don't think it's been accepted yet. That car should go through.Shouldn't it?

Chaps, are all of the nondescript tickets still tradable? I know if you have a ticket for an x2010 for example, that would NOT be tradable, but if you had a birthday (2010?) ticket or a level ticket, those are still tradable? Is that correct?

If so... it appears all is not lost, if not a little more complicated?

You know? The 1967 ticket would still get you a pretty good shot at getting something of high value?

This is.......i dunno lol.
I was hoping to get all colors of RX7 and FTO but now this seems as a dream or something.
Well, at least now we can prevent all 15lvl drivers from getting the X1
