Great idea! Added/modded the GT2 car list.
Can we add pages for real-life counterparts of the cars, or is that uneccessary? This way you can click a link on the GT_ Car List for say...Acura Integra...and get a history and photo to go with it? Of course, I'd rather it was all stored on your servers, this way, the info's always fresh, and the link will stay put.

I'm amazed by the amount of people who are contributing to this idea already! It seems to be a considerable success despite some minor issues with the wiki layout (i.e. the Mac OSX problem with text). You'll find the more you play around with wiki, the more you learn much like anything else.
The BEST part of all of this: no more yelling at n00bs to use the search feature! They can just go to the wiki site for pretty much any and every question they may have in a (semi-)organized site! w00t!

Yes! This is definitely something I would like to have here, although it would be great if it could be kept in relation to the game. For example, if we had a screenshot of the car in the game (and then other real life photos could be added as secondary images). It would also be great if the car's page listed its specifications, price, how/where it can be attained, etc.
Also, remember everyone - the more images, the better! Please don't hesitate to post track maps, screenshots of certain features, races, cars, etc. Make the wiki as detailed as possible!

Also, a lot of people seem to be getting information from sources other than GTPlanet. Don't forget that we have a lot of fantastic resources right here, which I would prefer that you use. For example, Jkrobby's GT4 PAL and NTSC Car Lists is already full of all the specs for every car in the game.

do you think my "original parts" list would be worth adding to the wiki? its had 762 views but nobody contributed anything to it. i dont know if anyone was interested in it enough or not. we could even just add it to the sortable car list as an option so it wouldnt need its own page.

i added my original parts list. i want to add picture links to all the cars sometime. that should be sweet!!
I just went through a few places and fixed up a few typos. Nothing big, but these are often the things that plague a lot a of good resources.
I'm guessing that with this page: https://www.gtplanet.net/wiki/index.php/Gran_Turismo_4_:_Races_Database the credits reward are Japanese Cr. and not PAL/NTSC?
