We are not talking technology.
We are talking human nature. You must be forgetting we are still animals, we are here to procreate. We might be smarter than other creatures, but we are still animals ourselves. You think in a village they would accept one of their own males not getting married, but trying to pursue a relationship with another male from the clan? No, they'd banish him, or worse.

I know, don't you just hate it? Every sodding Monday another gay pride making me take a different route to work. Wandering around with those rainbow banners and waving their cocks about.

Oh no wait, none of that happens.

How often do gay pride rallies spoil your route to work? Seriously. And I suppose they should stop events for black people too, nobody wants to see people celebrating about their race, right?

In Chicago, like the prvious poster said the gay pride parade happens every year and is very disturbing. Half naked guys, if not naked walking around acting like women on a acid trip. Lots of penis' and such being shown.
What's so special about gays and lesbians that they need a parade?

Stopping the Bud Billiken parade in Chicago would not be a stupid idea.

Every year those savages throw glass bottles, rocks, and whatnot at boats & people in Belmont Harbor. One year my friend's boat was shot. They clear the street of vehicles not to make room for floats but to protect the vehicle & owners from the savages. People regularly get stabbed at this event.

So ya...shut that one down.

And I don't know how they do the gay pride thing in the UK, but in Chicago it's kind of a big deal and sometimes gets out of hand. So yes, cocks do get waved about. No violence, vandalism, or any of that...just a bunch of queers having a good time. Nothing wrong w/that in my book but it is a PITA if you have to commute around that event.

I've no objection to shutting down parades that cause damage to private and public property.

I simply think it's stupid complaining about a gay pride rally on the basis that it's a rally for gay people. That would be like complaining about a rally held by a particular race simply because it's that particular race.

Here is my take on Homosexuality. It is neither a problem or an alternative lifestyle. It is something you just are. You can't turn gay just by decision, there are forces that contribute that are out of a person's control like feelings. I don't mean to offend anybody, but why should religion govern how a person should be? Doesn't the Bible teach us to love all and accept how people are? In my opinion, branding homosexuality as a sin is absurd.

Also, if you consider something "wrong", you must care. If you didn't care you wouldn't have any reason to label it as moral or immoral, unless of course you don't care if immoral acts are committed, which is pretty irresponsible.

To say that something is wrong implies that people shouldn't be allowed to do it. Otherwise the word "wrong" becomes totally meaningless. I'm sure you would admit that murder is wrong, and that it shouldn't be allowed to be committed. However, if it's not prohibited because it's wrong, why is it then?

No, what I believe is not always right, but it's what I believe.
I also believe a car is not good looking until it is flush, but then again some people may disagree.
