I'm not impressed with the Huarya it's not T10's fault, it's my own, I figured this thing would be unstoppable, the active aero is awesome but the car itself isn't all it's cracked up to be, I even think the thing looks ugly, in any photo's I've seen of the car I liked the looks I didn't love them, just liked them but the more I look at it the more I think "What was Pagani thinking?!"

I really wanted to like it :banghead:

The best car from the Jalopnik pack is the #08 Gallardo in my opinion

You won't get an argument out of me regarding the Gallardo, but the Huayra... the Huayra is, to put it boldly, something that you can't muck around in - you have to drive it seriously or it's going to mistreat you and whatever track you've taken it to.

The looks are that of an acquired taste, much like the Enzo which, upon the first time I laid eyes on, I found to be hideously ugly. I kept looking at it and once it made it's way into a couple of games and I kept seeing it everywhere it grew on me.

I agree with Terronium-12. But I actually think the Huayra is the best looking Zonda, the R is hideous to me. I found the "H" to be very fast with no engine tuning, plus I drive so bad that I rarely blame it on the car :dopey:. Big plus one on the Gallardo though, it is sweet!

don't like how it looks, maybe not for this decade.

how it drives (in the game) though, not the best handling car but surely separate man from the boys, you need to stay on the throttle to keep the boost and the car turning, but overdoing it will spin you around with the smallest bump and over eagerness to turn. A true test of skill.

I tweaked mine a bit and got it to calm down a little out of the corners. For some reason 2nd gear in the low speed corners seems to give the car a lot more traction which I found strange.

The best method I've found so far for driving it is to try and take the most direct route out of the corner, it hooks up very well if it stays straight out of the corner, and my god this thing accelerates like a madman if I get it right.

Edit: As far as the looks go, I think the back end looks amazing. But the front end...I'm not too sure about it, it looks swollen. But I wouldn't go as far to say it's ugly.

I gave the rivals event a go and holy crap it sounds great but I can't drive it for the life of me with a 900deg csr wheel!! at least in stock form

I wanted to buy it last night but it keeps telling me I have to buy the entire pack. So I still dont have it.

I don't think it's something you'd want to try and win events in, if like me, you keep supercars stock, but it's fun if you're in free-run. Just a pity I think it looks almost fugly.

Same here.

Good point, I guess thats one thing that bugs me about DLC from T10. You technically buy it but you don't own it. Other then being able to drive them in Arcade mode, you still have to buy them in game if you actually want them. The sad part is I don't always have enough credits!!!

Credits are super easy to come by. The first day i started Rivals mode i think i made somewere around 6-8 million.

Exactly. If you've made something like the Zonda R easy to drive fast - and Clarkson absolutely loved it in his Italian Job DVD - why the heck would you make the H-car so hardcore? Because if you're after a 'real man's car' then you don't get much manlier than a sub-7 minute Nord lap do you?

Obviously the Zonda R had slicks and this has road tyres, but mechanical grip just seems lacking, especially on the front where there's very little purchase.

It's not hardcore, it's hard to drive because it is road orientated actually, if it had track level of stiffness and grip it will be more balanced.

as of now it is more a sledgehammer of a car, grip is alright though, you'd expect it to be mildly understeery so not to kill those one percenters. plus it is very easy to rotate with the throttle.

The DLC pack is an invitation to the "invitation only" showroom. They don't let any old bum in there. You gotta have the right clothes on. Buying the DLC gets you the clothes, you still have to buy your ride though. ;)

I drove the stock one in that Rivals challenge and found it to switch between plowing through the turns or going straight into snap-oversteer. Maybe if it was worked on it it would be better, but it's not pretty enough relative to the other cars in the game to bother putting the effort into making it go fast.

It's not fast for the class it races in, it's not a good looking as the F1 GTR or as fast and the handling is meh. I agree the the Gallardo is the best car out of that DLC.

I don't exactly like the looks of it much from the front. But in order for me to get the handling under control I really had to rethink how I tuned and drove it.

The best way for me so far is to try and get it straight as soon as possible to get the power down. I think it has potential but it's a handful without a doubt.

It's not too bad with a proper tune. Pretty much on par with the other hypercars when tuned to the top of R3 anyway.

I Love it! It accelerates like a bat out of hell strapped to the front of a rocket!!!, Sure it is a handfull at lower speeds, But it grips like a cat on carpet when you are carrying decent speed! The sound is absolutely intoxicating!
