The more you know... I've been doing TT swaps a lot. I have to try adding one big turbo.

I put the option engine/ turbo into a schwimmwagen (I get bored late at night) and it'll do every bit of 380mph. And on sarth once it hits the bumps I can get it to hold a wheelie in 4th gear, but it won't keep going down the track, it just bounces everywhere until it hits a wall, then it's somewhat controllable. Now if I could just get gt5 to read my files and not get stuck loading I could get back to doing RTL hybrids.

Alrighty, have I got some treats for you!
First up we have a SpecV GT-R running full upgrades on the heart of an Aston Martin DB9 coupe '06. And, what else was there? Oh, yeah! Motul Autotech GTR chassis, drivetrain, trans etc. This would probably be a better drift car than circuit racer, since I started a new profile and forgot to turn off SRF

And here is a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 sitting on it's RM counterpart's chassis, with a Ferrari 599 engine, 458 gearbox, and a ZR1 supercharger to top it all off. This beast was caught screaming through the streets of London under 58 secs with sports hard tires! I'll put her on share, sports hard for drifting, and sports soft and up for circuit racing.

Now we have a Challenged Viper RM... It's a 1970 Challenger RM with normal body again, except this one is powered by the Team Oreca Viper #91's V10 which is now supercharged thanks to the Challenger (no turbochargers on this one)

4 Formula F3 replicas - all have 2 liter engine NA with 200+HP, 6 speed sequential box, adjusted downforce and correct weight :) 1 with Renault engine, 1 with Toyota engine, and 1 with Alfa Engine, the last one is Berta Duratec Replica with 257+HP. Currently on share are the Berta version and Toyota engined F3.

Option Stream Z.

Nope, One of the Weakest Turbos. Swapping wise.

Try to look for cars that when getting a high rpm turbo - it provides massive jump of HP. Easier to look for stock/race car with only high rpm kit can get lots of HP boost, and a good indication are that they usually have very loud BOV sound and have full boost. Their low/mid rpm kits also tend to give the best torque and balanced curve in the game.

I stayed away from this kind of turbos though, they gave unrealistic HP at times :( I prefer something more subtle

Meh 50/50 depending on Engine wise.

To do comparison here.

C5 Vette Twin Charge

Stage 3 Turbo from Supra RZ = 1,000HP with Engine Stage and everything else for engine.

Stage 3 from a Beetle= 1,900HP with Engine Stage and everything else for engine.

So i went back down to Stage 2 Turbo to get more "realistic hp"

I usually rely on engine tuning to fine tune power output, HP and torque curve, then apply turbo kit that won't hurt the power delivery - less lag. Which is why I always aim lower than 1000HP so it's manageable with comfort soft, 90% of the time I drove with comfort soft :). My 1425+HP Gallardo now has mid rpm kit - power drop to 1100+HP and still 950+ ft lb torque, capable of 250+mph top speed, it's already too much for most GT5 tracks ;)

Yes. You have a point :dopey:. But your correct, After 1,100HP its kinda pointless on a street car  I dont have lag on the Camaro or C5 since supercharger :sly:

3Dx Evolution Lancer

This is a 3DX Evolution Lancer replica built by 3D Motorsports as holds the Record of most power in a Evolution X. Chase is not the owner of the 3DX Evo and has been sold. This is one quick car. I think it can do 10.1xx or faster. Not tested. Not weight Reduced in anyway except for glass. Very Very fun to drive. Its a great car to do Pulls with as Cruise. 👍. Chase has approved this Hybrid. Showed him the thread and was amazed.

Specs

- Stage 3 Engine
- 908AWHP
- Single Turbo
- Racing ECU
- Racing Clutch | Flywheel
- 5 Speed
- Sport Exhaust
- Lowered Suspension, Needs tweaking.

Awesome idea for a build, only thing that sways me away from the Evo X on GT5 is the fact that it is paddle shift. Just a slightly annoying detail that probably wouldn't bother others.

Damn gtplanet app.

Gets stuck on loading, clicked so it stopped loading and then got new post even though I was just editing.

Have been testing out some things for the Suzuki Swift '07 now, hope to display some pictures later on:-) Hints; rallye engine/gear, racing chassis, 450ish Awhp @85% power, 1120kg
Amazing initial run on Tsukuba, 1.01.188 with NO adjustments on gear, LSD or suspension:-D

McLaren MP4-12C
Corrected gear ratios (GT5 totally ****ed up the stock ratios)
