I don't think there's a way to do that... yet. But what do I know? I'm don't create hybrids.

I am going to play around with the rim numbers. I have been able to put a set of rims I have never seen in the game before (meaning never seen on any car) on my RX7.

So i will play around with it and see if i can label the rims.

I've looked into swapping stock rims while I was making hybrids manually hex editing a couple weeks ago as I always wanted the stock rim swaps from GT4 back, plus I care about rim choice a lot and I love a certain type of rims that look like the SL55 AMG and IS F DTM stock rims (though the 908 HDi ones surely would fit perfectly on a GT-R) so I tried to get the SL55 rims on my C63 but had no luck. I'm not sure if I was looking in the right position in the save, I hope I didn't but I'm pretty sure I did. If I was looking at the correct place the hex code is always the same when stock rims are installed, on all cars, similar like when you have the stock paint on your car, a unified default code.
I've also spoken to several people who are deeper into modding/hacking GT5 (game data as well) and it seems this is only possible with game data manipulation, and therefore isn't transferable to normal consoles like save file modded hybrids. :guilty:

If anyone can make any advancements in this area, pleeease let me know.

Back about a year ago when the Sorg discovery thread stuff started and he confirmed car modifications outside of the game's limits are possible I've had a strong hope I would have a 1,200hp GT-R R35 in GT5 one day. Now we all can have this since a few months and I have that GT-R. Now I'm hoping to have a C63 AMG with SL55 AMG rims in my GT5 garage one day, and I hope it can become similar truth! :sly:

Umm, pics?

I know, I know the usual "picture or it didn't happen". Glad I actually did take a picture of it.

Not a good picture of it. They looked really weird almost like rally car rims. They had different style lugs. The bolts were not so much as flush with the lugs. Around the rim lip there was fan blade design in the rim. Just overall the rim looked weird.

What I tried to do was tested out putting these

Rims on my RX7. It didn't work and gave me those white ones.

I am going to play around with it more later.

^Those are the Focus RS WRC rims.

Oh hummmm... I have only driven that car maybe once. Well somehow it gave me those. I remember how I did it though.

Hummmm well i am going to go play around and see how many others I can get to show up

Interesting either way. Might be on to something. 💡

Well i will go play around and see what I can find out. If i find any other rims I will post pictures up.

I would love to have the steelie looking rims available for most premium muscle cars in a civic hatch .. Anyone care to try and share?.. They are available for mustang gt, art Morrison corvette, and corvette convertible

I can try but it will take some time to label every rim. I am heading to check a couple of things

If anyone is interested in it. PM me do not ask in this thread. I will send you my e-mail and discuss it outside of this site.

Brace yourselves, the diamond racing steelies stance civics are coming to GT5.. ugh. Hopefully the meaty tires get converted aswell making you lose all hope of even attempting to pull through with such atrocity. You want to look like a 15 year old ricer on a video game.. yikes. More power to you.

Hahahaha. Not my intention. I was trying to put a certain rim that wasn't available on another car. Of people want that look sure more power to them. Me I don't like steel rims. But some people do.

We already have stance nation camber, can't get much worse.

I love driving cars that look like their suspension is broken!

How to make a slammed car: DROP IT OFF A CLIFF.

I agree. What's next stupid/pointless amount of camber, with the engine inside the car, and the driver sitting in the engine compartment?

Wasn't directed towards you, or anyone in particular :) just warning the public of this pressing matter! haha. Awesome work finding that possibility though, should bring some cool combinations in the future. Keep it up. 👍

Oh yeah thanks. I will probably post my findings tomorrow afternoon

I am not sure if the steelie civic retort was directed at me but excessive camber is not my style.. Check my cars on the stance thread .. Deep dish wheels on a slammed civic are what I am after .. And not the overused bbs

Everyone hates on others, we should embrace each other as enthusiasts. I am not a fan of extreme camber, but others like it, so be it, not my car.
