I suspect I already know the answer to this, but I'll ask anyway: Is there an easy/simple way to find out which cars from the UCD you are missing? I have the same problem of having several copies of (a lot of) cars. I buy extra copies to gain 0/0/0 versions.

Are you not seeing the check boxes next to each car? :dopey:

I don't know of an easy way, but if you create an account on gt5cars.net and add all that you have, it will tell you which ones you still need.

or what HOODFIELD said.

Firstly, thanks to both of you for replying. I appreciate the effort :)

When you say "boxes next to each car" are you referring to the ticks that indicate you own a car listed in the UCD and OCD? -If so, I'm well aware of them, but that only tells me which of the current cars available for purchase I already own. What I'm seeking is something which tells me, in my garage, which cars I have multiple copies of, or some other manner of establishing which standard cars I am yet to purchase (from all the standard cars available).

Ah OK, so the only way is to, essentially, "mark off" which ones you have from a list, and gt5cars.net offer such a list. Cool. I was hoping there would be some magical in-game way to do it--or even an app/program to automatically scan a garage, but that was always unlikely.

I mention the check boxes because I was thinking you might not have updated your game. In the early GT5 days there were no tick boxes, so everytime the UCD refreshed I would have to cross check every car against my list at www.mygranturismo.net. I have seen plenty of people using Excel spreadsheets as well. I'm sure gt5cars.net is the same thing. So there are plenty of tools out there already that will tell you this information, but its a manual process. You can check out my signature for mygranturismo.net info.

I've been keeping up with auto-updates, but it's always worth mentioning something like the checked boxes just in case.

Manual process: the words I was hoping to avoid ;) Aside from idly hoping for an automatic process, I was also wondering about how everyone else goes about the process of identifying which standard cars they are yet to own, so this information answers that question too. Thanks again :)

P.S. I checked out your mygranturismo link, and :boggled: nice collection!

Initially setting it up is the only hard part. Once you get it set up maintaing it is very easy. The plus about mygranturismo.net is it contains not only cars, but most other collectables such as horns, museum cards, gear, tickets, etc... it also has a compare mode, so if you can easily identify potential trades from other people who also use it.

I'm saving expensive premiums for last. After I bought the Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ, I was pissed that I got it two events later as a prize. Should have wasted the money on an F1 Ferrari.

mygranturismo.net has such a scary UI in my opinion. Everything is so cramped, an information overload. I don't even bother even if it's a great resource. However I'm only using gt5cars.net to keep track of which or when cars will come in the UCD, ticking them off as I go. If you want more than that mygranturismo.net is obviously the better choice.

Finally done, needed the TK zz II '00 forever. Started a new account and still went through buying over 600 standard cars, then in 2 days, 2 of the TK zz II's show up. Have them all now, except for chromelines and a few others that are not available any more.

I'm pretty sure I have all the cars. I haven't seen one I haven't got in the dealerships for a couple of months now. But there is no way I am inputting them into a database to find out for sure!

I believe the garage can be sorted by model name. That will group all the same cars together. Sorry if this is info is very obvious or just outdated, trying to help.

I have had them all since Easter - no stealths or chromelines though. The last 2 cars kept me hanging - Zonda C12s 7.3 and Ford GT 02!!

But yesterday, for the first time that I can recall the Suzuki GSX concept appeared in the UCD - that can replace the one I modded!!

I've had them all for quite a while now. It is simply too easy to buy cars with the big payouts now. The hardest part of it is investing the time to buy them all, which can be considerable.
