It is a long process, the first amount of times I used it, I was adding in hundreds every so often and now I just add in whatever I get when playing it.
 
I'm getting close, 980+ with only a few multiple, but I slowed myself down by only getting cars with 9,xxx kms or lower.
 
Got the last car i was missing last night, buying a VW Nardo means i now have everyone that it is possible to get in Europe.

I have none of the chrome cars you got from special editions or whatever, and I didn't dupe or use a rubber band. And I have been waiting for the last standard car (that annoying #91 Viper haha) for literally months (the last but one car I got was sometime in the Autumn), but finally.... after 2300 "days" of GT5 according to the game save... the #91 appeared in my UCD on Wednesday 1 February so I now have the full set.

So, PLEASE add me to the list! Thanks. Never thought it would take so long to get that last car...
 
I think that I finally have them all, now working on dupes of cars I like for tuning. I did it the hard way, no rubber banding, no trading, no duplicate accounts, one car at a time.

I think that I finally have them all, now working on dupes of cars I like for tuning. I did it the hard way, no rubber banding, no trading, no duplicate accounts, one car at a time.

Weird. As a few have said, the last car they needed was the VW W12 Nardo. I had the same situation on my old account, right before my game save file got corrupted :(.

Now, on a new account with a new game save, I haven't gotten everything yet, but I have two W12 Nardos. I'm only 25 cars away, this time with no rubber banding. There's an easy, legit way to make credits as quickly as the old "Indy / X1 / rubber band" trick.

I'll repost when I've all the cars.

I've got at least one of every standard car ( some in duplicates/triplicates/omg-wtf-plicates on some models).
I'm close to having one of every Premium car, I still can't bear the idea of spending hard earned cash on countless NASCAR clones :x
Also, I've got both Chromeline and Stealth cars, all I'm missing are the Schick Camaro and the Gamestop NASCAR ... Big effin' loss :P
 
I had them all (1600) with most variations (colors) for several months but started to delete them because there are not enough events for most of them, now I am back to 400 just keeping the ones I like to see or drive, the garage was such a mess with all of them, and the 100 favorites do not give enough slots anyway; I kept a save of my previous garage just in case I might want it back some time; I also have most of them on another account if a car is "needed"; this is somehow no life, but managing the garage is finally an important and pleasant part of GT5

And of course, in the UCD, what show up but an RX7 and a Miata that I didn't have. Now my life is complete.

You can get the GAMESTOP Camry from a 2010 gift car ticket but as soon as you quit the game or change car (I think), you can't drive it again but it remains in your garage as I have it through the same way.

EDIT: I'm also missing the Camaro Edge Special
 
Same, have all, and all have been tuned too, only ordinary A and B spec to earn all credits necessary :-)

And I did the same in GT4 with Gold all over.

Still on bronze on Vettel challenge in GT5, better gold them to get all trophys to gold and platinum soon. And in progress to chenge as much cars to 0 km on them, long process though and maybe not possible since you will hardly see any miatas / MX5 etc OCD... but possible to chenge them with close to 0 km milage.

+ 200 laps on the real Nordschleife with my old tuned S14A ;-)
 
I'm also almost there, I mostly need NASCARs, gt500 class cars, and the UCD race cars like the Bentley Speed 5. I currently have 1153 cars, probably about 30-50 are duplicates. (paint chips) My method of quick $$$ gain is the Dream Car Championship in B-spec, I just sit on the PC and every 10 minutes or so I get $173,200. 5 races with $173,200, plus an $866,600 championship prize.

Pfft. Try the online B-Spec Championship, race #3, 650PP, Suzuka, 10 laps, 519,000 Cr. (1,038,000Cr with the 200% bonus)

A-Spec Seasonal Event #4 : 1 lap on the Ring ( 6.20 min ) 500.000 Cr. - 1.000.000 Cr. with the 200% bonus. You'll have to drive tough :(

How can we know? I guess certainly more than 100 hours.
