All the music in the GT5 Demos are new songs like surv1v3, rock star, gt ps intro music, 458 italia teaser music etc. They are nice music for trailers and intros , but not for a race!:yuck: They just rip off all my feelings to GT. Where's my good ol' Freedom to Win? Kiss you Good-bye? Green Monster? From the East to the West? Soundtracks that have been included since the Japanese. ver. of GT1?

It seems that PD is trying make GT5 a revolutionary game like GT3 and forget about the past

I just hope PD will keep them.

GT5 will come with music that is modern, fit for purpose and yet still holds on to some of the qualities of previous GT games. I dont think it is anything to 'Worry' about.
 
I ususally have the BGM turned off, but I have the song from the 458 Italia trailer and it'd be awesome for racing I think.

Regardless, it never ceases to amaze me what people will "worry" about. They worry about music in a game, they worry about it only being the Tokyo track at the motor show, they worry about installing the game, they worry about it spanning multiple discs... crazy.

All I can say is, these people must still be living at home with their parents if that is all they have to worry about!
 
Maybe I am not as hardcore as you guys do :P

The soundtrakcks from gt1 to gt4 is really nice (and i mean Japanese. ver.), they are just so relaxing and they sound great. especially good for a free cruise or replay

It's a matter of what you find important. Of course for us who turn the music off during races it's no big deal. But for someone who does like to drive with music on and who doesn't like the music he heard so far it's something to worry about. :)

You will be able to select your own in-game music, just like you can in the PSP version once you earned the right. Worries are over.

PD probably did.
 
That's not a problem, because it's confirmed that there will be an user music option. So, everybody would listen what it likes. This option it's in GTPSP. So, don't worry.

Yes, menu's lounge tunes in GT5P are perfect.

The only soundtrack I listen to is the engine noise of my opponents fading into the background!

Seriously though, personalised soundtracks is going to be cool and I will be listening to d&b, electro and techno. No more cheesy guitar rock for me.

same here- I listen to a wide variety of music, but nothing like the music in GT games- so I think I'll make a playlist of all of the old GT songs, and add on to it, see what others have added- it'd be a nice thread to keep up on this site

I'm also worrying about the theme song for the intro! I've been playing the Japanese version of GT since GT1 till Prologue, and I've bought another copy of European version of Prologue for taking part in the GTP official race events. I found it better to get an English version of the FULL GAME as I can read the instructions and stuff better. To me, "Moon Over The Castle" gives the best feeling of GT experience and I've been addicted to hearing it in every GT's intro movie. Hope that PD would keep its tradition. 👍

Don't you realise the world is getting hotter and the snow caps are melting.

In fact come to think about it PD's game should make you aware of climate change and the impact of cars.
