Summary:This is a drivers journey to one of the biggest endurance races in the world The 24 Hours of Nürburgring. But to get there he has to prove his skills,win the respect of real life race drivers,and well as face the people of his miserable childhood.

Chapter 1:The Number 18 Go-Kart​

It was a beautiful evening at Salzburg, Austria.
Alex had just graduated from racing school and visited his best friend Jake who works at Red Bull Technology.
After a friendly chat they went out of the hangar and show him a Blue Go-Kart.

Gran Turismo PDI RACING KART 100
Power:34 HP
Weight:85 kg
Torque:24 Nm
Drivetrain:MR
Owner:Alex Sanchez

"Sweet! A go-kart!",Alex Exclaimed

"Yeah I know. My boss gave it to me 'cause I'm so good with my work and it also comes with a racing suit that
matches the color of the go-kart. Of course you know I'm very scared of driving fast so... I'm gonna give it to you!"
"Really?" "Yesss!!!!"

Alex took a closer look at the go-kart

"Its looks so cool,and in my favorite color too."

He looked closer and noticed that the kart number is the same as his birth date.January 18,1990

"Coincidence? Maybe.", Said Alex
"I know a track where we can test your new toy. Met me here tomorrow ok? Exclaimed Jake.
"Ok!", Alex happily replied

Chapter 2:The First Attempt

The next day....
Alex arrived at the local track wearing the racing suit that came with his
go-kart. Jake was already at the track
"Your late." said Jake. "Whoa relax,I was just 5 minutes late." Alex replied
"I know I'm just messing you!" Jake said
"What a way start the day huh? The first time I'll drive a racing go-kart." said Alex.
Jake reprimanded Alex before he got on his go kart "Just make sure you don't hurt yourself!"
"I won't." said Alex as he put his pedal to the floor and raced off.

"HERE GOES!!!" Alex yelled out
As he entered the first corner he immediately span out of control.

He learned the very first lesson in go-kart racing:Never steer to hard.

Alex immediately recovered from the mistake and drove on. He recognized the handling of the go-kart and easily drove through the corners.

"I'm getting the hang of this." said Alex
"Didn't they teach you how to drive go-kart's in driving school?" Jake asked
through the radio.
"No.They didn't." Alex replied



Eventually he made it to the most difficult turn in the track.

"Any suggestions?" Alex said
"Just three things:Steer carefully,control your throttle and go easy on the brakes." Jake replied.
"Ok thats a no brainer." Alex said

"That thing looks like a freakin' hairpin!" Alex shrieked.

He entered the turn and did what Jake told him to do.

And much to his surprise he made it through the turn without incident,the 2 g's of force pulled his body all the way to the right.
"WOOOOHOOO!!!!" Alex yelled
"Nice job bro" Jake said

After the last few corners, he made it to the finish.

"How was it?" Jake said running towards Alex.
"That was so 🤬 awesome!", Alex screamed out.
"I'm glad you had fun.You know, the very best go-kart drivers are normally join an invitational race called The Autumn Ring Mini Masters. But to get there you have to win the Gran Turismo Go-kart Championship" said Jake
"Well then look's like the first step to my destination" Alex exclaimed.
"What do you mean?" Jake asked, wondering what Alex meant.
"I wanna go to the 24 hours of Nürburgring. I've been dreaming about it my whole life I wanna be the first Filipino to ever win it!" Alex said in great joy.
"Your in luck, go-kart racing is the very fist step to professional race driving and not to mention, getting the attention of pro race drivers" Jake explained.
"This could be my chance!" Alex said with hope all over his face.
"This IS your chance! And I'm with you all the way." Jake said.
Alex hugged Jake and said,"Thanks man!"

Alex's journey to the 24 hours of Nürburgring has now begun.He will go around the world. Making friends and foes along the way and well as gathering old friends that are willing to help him and rencountering the bullies from his childhood whom will stop at nothing to crush his dreams.

By "Ring" I meant the Nurburgring. Besides,the story has just begun. It's gonna be a long time before you get to see Nurburgring in the story.

Sure I'd love to but I can only do this on weekends. I'm still studying at school and I'm currently a sophomore

No,not an X2010 but instead a GT race car. I'm trying to follow the regulations of the 24 hrs of Nurburgring as closely as possible. But I'm thinking of giving the X2010 a major pivotal role for season 2

Chapter 3-The first-hand experience

Location:Tokyo Bay
About a week after Alex's test run

The Gran Turismo Go-Kart Chapionship's first race was about to begin
and Alex's was nervous as he approached the grid along with the other driver's
"You ready?",asked Jake
"Of course I am!!",Alex exclaimed as he climbed into his go kart.
He was starting in the middle of the pack although Alex wasn't to happy about it.
Jake whom is now Alex's crew chief,stared down at Alex and said,"Look on the bright side,at least your close to the lead" "Yeah I know",Alex replied
"All crew chief's please return to your respective tent's immediately",the race official said thru the PA system.
"Good luck man!" Jake said as he walked away
"GENTELMEN START YOUR ENGINES!!!" the grand marshal screamed.
and the 100-cc motors of the go-karts roared to life.
Then the flag marshal waved the green flag and the competition raced away

As Alex entered the first corner,he instantly got to first place

"Booya!!!,Hasta La Vista ****ers!!!",Alex screamed through the radio
"Nice job now just stay in the lead and this race is all yours",Jake said

As he entered the last turn he stepped on the brakes too hard and steered too hard then eventually span out of control.

"OHHHH S*IIIIIT!!!!" Alex shreiked as his go-kart span him around like a beyblade

"You alright?" Jake asked worriedly
"Yeah" Alex said

Then suddenly the other drivers emerged from the smoke

"Here we go again" said Alex as the other drivers passed him

" 'Cmon Alex,floor it!!" Jake scolded
"I am,I am.Sheeh relax. I if i can pass them all in one go, I can do it again",Alex said

Eventually Alex did pass all the other drivers except for one.
The battle was on for first place

"I got you now you P*ick",Alex hissed

The battle went on for the remainder of the race.

But Alex gained the upper hand

One driver tried to get the lead at the last second but it was too late

Because he already crossed the finish line

"Yeah baby!!!" Alex yelled with glee as he put his fist in the air
"Now that's what I'm talking about Alex!!", Jake said
After Alex stopped and met up with Jake and giggled to each other the thick wad of cash they won from the race.
"This is a start", Jake said
"Yup, It certainly is.", Alex replied
